After checking other companies, We are glad we chose Direct Solar America. Their application process was surprisingly easy, quick and flawless!. The salesmen were very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. We are elated to finally get our solar panels and lower electric bills!!!

They have not delivered the product that was promised, solar power. They finally got the panels on, but it has been three weeks and they have not delivered the documentation to my power company that is needed for the activation.In this day and age of electronic media and instant communication, why should it take three weeks? I have been assured by my agent that this has been done, but the power company has no record of me or my account. My agent won't return my phone calls and the power company says that they will not be installing the new thermostat that we were promised either. Can't recommend them at all right now. Their phone number only goes to an answering service and I can't get a real person to talk to me.

The installation crew did an incredible job. They were very easy to work with. I have been in contact with our representatives in the office on a regular basis keeping me informed about the plan and any paperwork that is needed. We are very happy with this investment in our property

I had a great experience with Direct Solar! I was very impressed with how helpful all staff has been throughout our solar journey. I was updated frequently and everyone has been so kind. If you are looking to save money on your electric I highly recommend this company. Very knowledgeable and great customer service.

Edit: it took the company so long to get the system working properly and to get my information submitted that I have to pay $7,000 MORE THAN WHAT THEY TOLD ME. My state rebate was supposed to be $20,000 and it was only $13,000 bc it took them so long to get organized and would go MONTHS to get back to me. DS of A is trying to say their contract states that it not a guarantee, but an estimate. And they said it very rudely btw, even though I’ve been extremely patient. I don’t think their numbers were approximate enough to be considered estimates. I think they should make this right considering the only reason this has happened to me is bc they weren’t qualified to install this system, they installed it improperly causing "events" that they’re trying to say was cause by lightning striking my house… twice. Even though I have proof of Enphase and their contractors saying it was installed improperly, and ignored me for years resulting in my money back from the state significantly lower. So now the numbers don’t make sense. And now they won’t respond to me at all, for 7 months. I’ve had multiple ex employees of theirs talking about how unorganized they are, how many lawsuits they have against them, how they don’t pay their employees, and that they make fake accounts to leave positive reviews to fight against all of their negative reviews. This company is pathetic and doesn’t take care of their customers and doesn’t honor anything they say. This has made my situation so much worse! Don’t do business with these guys! Original review: the panels have been on my roof since September of 2019 and they’re still not installed properly and my numbers are off. And now that the panels are at least producing like they should be (apparently), they’re only producing half of what I was guaranteed. Worst experience with a company in my life! And the customer service is awful. They flat out ignore you!

Definitely consider this company for your solar installation. They got quotes from various installers and got me a great deal. Saving money on energy costs and happy once some problems with incentives were solved by Laura. Thank you, Laura!
