Electric Bogh

Fantastic company overall. We own an older home in the Astoria area, so, outdated wiring to say the least. We had some issue with our kitchen outlets over Thanksgiving weekend, so we reached out to Bogh and scheduled a (free) estimate. The owner Tony was onsite within a week and after some conversation regarding how we would like our electrical setup, we shook hands and were supplied a quote within the day. Dalton was able to install a couple electrical outlets and fix our existing fridge outlet in only a few hours, very friendly and explained everything along the way. A couple weeks later, the same fridge outlet was giving us issues, after a call to Bogh in the AM, Dylan was out here that afternoon diagnosing the problem and fixing the outlet once more, with a full explaination of the issue, it was clear the existing wiring was installed incorrectly and it may cause issues down the road. Another week later and the outlet was out once again. Another call to Bogh in the AM and Jacob was onsite that afternoon, installing a full new outlet, wiring and circuit (edited: received invoice by mail). The amount of time, labor and knowledge put into diagnostic and remedy for our electrical system was incredible. It's rare you come across a company that is up-front with pricing and transparent about the process, this place is a true gem.

Excellent service and extremely professional. They were able to help us when another local company couldn't. Don't waste your time with other electricians. I'll always call Bogh first for any electrical service we need. Katie and Dillon were outstanding!

Bogh Electric upgraded the panel in our 1948 home in Astoria and added a GFCI breaker; and installed several new outlets, a dedicated circuit for welding, and a generator hookup for emergency power. They were prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Since purchasing our home 2.5 years ago we have hired a handful of contractors, including the installation of a new roof and new gutters in addition to our electrical upgrades. Bogh stands out because these guys have enormous pride in the work that they do. The other contractors did good work, but are not in the same league as Bogh. Consider no one else for your electrical needs. They are the real deal.

We've hired Bogh Electric to install electric car chargers, move outlets, and install lighted mirrors. Each time they were very professional, on time and had great ideas on how to make the project even better than we had hoped. We will definitely hire Bogh again next time we need electrical work performed.

I have recently purchased a very old home here in Seaside and needed an electrician. My real estate agent suggested Bogh Electric. I gave them a call on a Thursday and spoke with very friendly Nicole. I told her what I was looking for and she said that she could have an electrician out on Tuesday morning. Great response time!!! Tuesday the electrician called and said he was on his way. He showed up ON TIME !!! Way to go Bogh. There were two "gentlemen " (the journeyman and apprentice) I say gentlemen, because, they introduced themselves! ( This is refreshing) Tyler and Dillon conducted themselves with great professionalism and I felt confident in their abilities. I appreciated that they accommodated my needs (which were many ) with a smile, all the while performing the task at hand in a timely and neat manner, taking time to clean as they went. I had a issue with a oulet socket that burned out and caused burned marks. I called Bogh and told them my concerns. The lady that answered the phone was so nice and was able to fit us into their already busy schedule. The owner ended up coming over and fixed the issue plus a couple small other issues. He took the time to explain everything to my husband and was super friendly. I would highly recommend them. I will be using them in the near future.

Really felt like I could trust them. I believe it was the owner who came out and very quickly diagnosed the unusual problem - got such a good feeling about him - so many service folks try to up-sell or find problems that may not exist. Bogh Electric is the sort of company you want to partner with to trust them to help you while not taking advantage. We'll use no one else for our electrical needs.
