Sue Moua, Electrician at Electric City Corp was first on site this morning for our mini-split install. His work is masterful! Our experience with Electric City has been exceptional from quote to completion. Highly recommend.

I contracted with Electric City to install a personal electric car charger, 240 Volt circuit, external circuit breaker, electric meter box, ground wires, service mast, and overhead service wire to a detached garage at my condo building in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Electric City's customer service was outstanding from the initial inquiry and quote to the final install and inspection. Their master electrician Derek explained my options and provided helpful background information to share with my condominium association board. Their quote was competitive among several alternatives I sought out in the Twin Cities Metro Area. The install was completed in a prompt and professional manner by electricians Stacy and Sue. Both of them were courteous and communicative. The only friction in the process was caused by delays at Xcel Energy, beyond the control of Electric City. I highly recommend Electric City as an EV charger installer.

I live in Dakota County and we have an off-peak charging option for EVs. Dakota electric sent out the materials needed to install this ahead of time. The electrician showed up right on time and got to working. He had a few questionable looks when seeing what Dakota Electric had sent and it had me a bit worried. He did the right thing and made a call back to the person in charge at Electric City. He then installed everything, cleaned everything up, it looked great. Then Dakota Electric showed up a few days later to install the meters. The Meter tech said something wasn't right and made a call. Turns out... Dakota Electric hadn't sent everything and didn't notify me, the electrician, or the meter tech. So the Electrician did the install with what he had been given which wasn't ok with Dakota Electric (looking back, this is why he was a bit worried, he wasn't given everything needed). Dakota Electric then shipped me the extra materials (they were for wiring in the air conditioner to the other meter) and told me to have my electrician install those. Of course this meant I was going to have to pay for another visit, even though, Dakota screwed up. Electric City and Dakota Electric got in touch to figure this out and Dakota Electric wouldn't back down or pay for anything. Which is seriously screwed up because it was their mistake. In the end Electric City ended up not charging me because they felt the same way and it wasn't fair to charge me for something that wasn't my mistake (I didn't even complain or raise my voice or anything btw... it was awesome). They were extremely professional the whole time and returned all my calls/emails promptly. I couldn't recommend them more. Thanks everyone!

I used Electric City to install an off-peak electrical sub panel and Tesla wall charger. Now I can get the cheaper electrical rate to charge my electric cars. Throughout the estimate process Electric City answered all my questions and offered good advice on how and where the panels and charger should be installed. The price was super competitive too. I'm very happy with the end result.

We needed to correct two A/C units that were wired incorrectly. Electric City (Derek) gave me a fair bid and the 2 electricians (Jason and Stacy) showed up right on time. This is the first time I have used them at my site and I am impressed. I will be using them again.

We have found it hard not only to find outside help for our home but to also find someone who does a great job that you can trust. We found all of these things and more working with Electric City Corp. Our experience was great working with Kim on our bid. We had a lot of questions and she was trustworthy and very patient. She ensured we were getting what we wanted at a reasonable price. The team that installed our lights, lead by Mark was amazing! They installed recessed lighting in 8 rooms in only three days! Each day we got home from work and the lights were installed and everything was spotless and put back together. They were always prompt, accommodated some last minute changes and very friendly. Most importantly, we love our lights!! It is one of the best upgrades we have made to our home. We can't recommend this company enough. Quality and customer service will be hard to beat!

Worked with Electric City as we were paired with them when pursuing the EV Charge at Home program through Xcel Energy. Brice was quick to come out to our house to walkthrough and discuss our options for home chargers. We ended up needing an electrical box update through the process, and also ended up having some outdoor outlets put in during this work. Brice and his team were quick, efficient, and tidy. Due to illness with their team, we ended up needing to have some scheduling adjustments, but they were quick to address this and work with us to reschedule. Overall, we were so pleased with their professionalism, attentiveness to detail, and quality of work that we recently reached out for another project for some light installation. Brice even helped to fix a light fixture while he was out for the site visit! A job through Electric City will be done well and done right. Happy we were paired with them for the EV charger install.
