Outstanding service and quality work. Highly recommend and thankful for the team helping us quickly and very professionally.
The crew at Innovet had been over at my place for smaller electrical fixes the last few years and done great work. So when I needed to replaced my AC and my entire electric panel I went directly to these guys. Great work at the right price. I didn’t get sold a bunch of potential upgrades like many places try to offer to increase the price.
I hired them for install of my new hot tub. Charlie was referred to me by another contractor. The work his crew did was fine enough. However, after telling me the job would be around $1500, he later then stated that it could be more like closer to $2300. He also stated that if the job would take lesser time (he estimated 6-8 hours), it would be less at his labor rate of $110 per hour. When the job was complete, it took two workers roughly 4 and a half to 4 hours and 45mins to complete. I received a bill from Charlie for $2300. This included $1400 in labor and over $900 in materials. It's simple math that even paying two workers at $110 per hour, the labor comes to $1045. In addition, a cutoff switch for a hot tub cost roughly $125 plus tax. This along with some materials which would consist of cable, conduit and some miscellaneous items, cost for materials should be no more than $500. $50 city permit as well. This comes to a justifiable total of $1595. Charlie refused to provide an itemization, receipts and justification of his charges after I requested several times. He only stated it was more work for his guys. Where does the labor rate come in here? It's obvious Charlie is trying to take advantage. Maybe pay himself the extra $700? Not sure, but beware! *Update . . . Charlie never offered an install for $1400 related or not related to the position of the tub. Furthermore, his initial words were for $1500. He emphasized labor rate of $110 per hour. The job took just over 4 1/2 hrs to do. The position of the tub is now a complete smokescreen. Arbitrary charges are what's at hand. Charlie has been asked to provide detail but has refused.
Charlie and his team provide incomparable service and value! I've never met a contractor who is so responsive and caring about their customers. Recently a storm downed trees and pulled the meter box/electric service from my house. I called Charlie the next morning and he was on site to assess within a few hours. Charlie was able to send a crew the following day to complete the repairs- all new service, including circuit breaker box, ground, mast and meter box were required to bring the service up to code; the Innovet team had work complete and electric restored by mid afternoon. It's easy to see Charlie takes pride in building relationships and providing high-quality service to his customers. I am very grateful we received such quick and honest service; it would have been a long, hot weekend if not for Charlie's team coming to our rescue! Innovet will continue to be my first call for future electrical work!
Charlie and Josh were incredible to work with. My wife and I were wanting some electrical work done in the house to accommodate medical equipment for our son. They were extremely professional and trustworthy from the get go, listening to the reasons behind why we were wanting to get the work done and providing honest feedback and explanations behind their suggestions. Highly recommend their service!
I cannot say enough positive things about Innovet. We are in the process of putting our house on the market and an electrical issue popped up right before we are about to list, causing a bit of panic. I called Innovet and Charlie worked with me and was able to come out the next day to take a look at our issue. He walked me through what the problem was and was able to fix it very quickly. He was fast, thorough, professional, friendly and genuinely wanted to help us get our problem fixed. I highly recommend you use Charlie and his team at Innovet for your electrical needs.
Charlie is always responsive to me when I need his help, which is often under emergent circumstances. Steve does great work and works efficiently. I can’t recommend Innovet enough, and I like supporting a veteran-owned company.
