I am getting tired of them calling me even after informing them that I am not interested and to remove me from their call list. Guess what? They are STILL calling! Ugh.
I’ll just say that i’ve only been a customer for three months and the company has and continues to defraud me whenever given the opportunity. If you have to have this company due to regional constraints I recommend getting everything in writing as they will attempt to take you for everything you’ve got. Do not set up automatic payments and keep details of the check numbers you submit. Keep reference numbers and employee numbers when dealing with customer service. If they attempt to make you pay for anything that may feel a little shady then just contact the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and they will work their hardest to protect your rights against this egregiously unethical company.
ridiculous that i've been on hold for 49 minutes!!! seriously don't believe that they have anyone working the customer service to line to get mis-applied payment straightened out! terrible customer service!!! had to give 1 star for review to post. there should be NEGATIVES, not Plus starts for unhappy customers
Penn Power is by far the worst electric company I've ever dealt with!! Last month I made a payment, which was returned due to an error in THEIR automated system! They did not notify me of the return. So this month comes and I receive a shut off notice with my bill, and where I live has a 0 tolerance shut off policy that I can be evicted for. I call in and receive the absolute worst customer service. I tell her that they will have a check in the amount of $125 dollars by the 15th (shut off is for the 16th), and she just says well call back in to make sure we've received it then, and asks me when I can pay the difference (about $12). Penn Power is a joke!!! They don't care about their consumers/customers, and they do not assume ANY RESPONSIBILITY whatsoever for THEIR MISTAKES!! They just try to put it back on you. I can't wait to get out of this area and have other power options, and if I buy a home you can be sure I'll figure out how to generate my own power!!!
Terrible horrible customer service. They "transferred" me to another person and half the time I was hung up on during the transfer. I have two kids and a full time job... Don't have time to sit on the phone for 6 hours playing phone tag with rude, unknowledgeable customer service reps only to be talked down to and not get clear answers. Thanks, but no thanks. Would give less than 1 star to these jerks if I could.
My power goes out at least once a month.you would think if there was an accident 10 miles away, it shouldn't take our power out but everytime there is a power outage in wurtemburg the power goes out the whole way to Portersville. Cut the damn trees away from the lines or put them in the ground. There's probably no way to change this rating aside from burying the lines.
Not prepared for Irma. Letting the mass blue collar worker and elderly in the dark for a week, but power up the beaches? The last two days saying it will be on by midnight? Can't blame the lineman they just take the orders.
