Conner Electric agreed to take on a large home electrical project and work with us to provide the necessary documentation for the home warranty reimbursement. We chose Conner Electric because they were highly rated and recommended by many locals. They said they could have the work completed within 2 weeks, working everyday, since we were not yet occupying the home. We gave them half of the estimated cost up front because of the job size. The electricians did not show up most days they said they would. When we asked about this, they complained that "nobody shows up to work so I have to do it all" and that they have to take on other projects to pay their bills. Our understanding was that by paying half up front our work would be completed in a timely manner. Our experience seems to indicate that projects are not being appropriately prioritized and they cannot be relied upon to finish work on time. It has now been 5 months since we hired Conner Electric, we moved in 2 months ago, and the work is not completed. The city building inspector has required some minor repairs and Conner has not responded to us in nearly 2 weeks. They demanded payment of the final part of the bill within 5 days of providing the invoice; however, they will not provide us with the required documentation for the home warranty company. We are now out over $20,000 with no chance of reimbursement. I imagine Conner Electric can handle smaller jobs which only require a few hours of work, but do not hire them for anything larger or more significant.
The Conner Electric crew was fantastic! Joe got me scheduled quickly and the work was completed in only a few hours for a very reasonable price. Thank you Conner Electric!
