Kolb Electric

I’ve been a loyal customer of Kolb Electric for several years, largely due to the outstanding service and professionalism I received from Anna. Since her departure, my experience has gone downhill. Unfortunately, the new sales representative, Dale, has been very rude and dismissive. He talks at me instead of to me a complete lack of respect for a long-time customer who has brought Kolb a great deal of business. What’s most disappointing is that Kolb never informed us that Anna had left the company. When we reached out to her, we were met with an unfriendly and unprofessional response from Dale. This is not the level of service I’ve come to expect from Kolb. Because of this experience, I no longer wish to do business with Kolb Electric. It’s unfortunate that such a great working relationship ended this way.

Ryan from Kolb Electric was a huge help for us today. We'll use Kolb Electric again in the future. I thought we had a complicated electrical issue, but Ryan got the job done quickly and efficiently. He also clearly explained everything to me to help avoid future issues.

This company was off from the get go and I should have read the reviews before even deciding to get a quote. I called the company to explain that I needed a new service wire as mine had deteriorated and the person answering the call seemed confused as to what I was referring to. While I don’t expect people answering the phone to be qualified electricians I expect that they would have some base knowledge on what is a commonly done procedure. Then there was the outrageous call out fee of $125 which wasn’t mentioned to me when booking the technician. This was by far the highest one for the 4 quotes I solicited (free, $49, $89)). Then came the technician From my interaction with him I knew I wouldn’t be hiring the company. He came and left within maybe 10 mins, 5 of which he spent writing things in his truck. He came out looked at the issue for 2 seconds and declared I needed a heavy up. He didn’t take the time to explain what that was or what the merits of that was vs just replacing the damaged service line which the 2 other electricians that came out did. The technician seriously needs some customer service training. Needless to say based on our interactions I decided to go with another company even though they were more expensive. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is that they came out as the lowest quote and that per the terms of their contract they only get fully paid when they pass the inspection.

It's always a pleasure doing business with Kolb Electric. Anna is very helpful. I always get a technician in a timely manner and they are very knowledgeable.

I recently experienced a power outage at my residence and called Kolb Electric for troubleshooting. A technician arrived, spent approximately 20 minutes on site, and then presented me with a bill of $396, which ended up being $450 with tax. They didn’t even fix anything and said it’s an electric company problem, and left doing nothing. They are literal robbers, and I do NOT recommend anyone to use their service ever.

Kolb Electric came out and installed a new switch, which the previous one had gone bad. The technician then left to go to Home Depot for 1 hour for supplies that I was told he was going to have with him. Stuff that any electrician should have with them like an outdoor outlet. I also wanted an outdoor outlet installed correctly as well. The technician then installed the outdoor outlet incorrectly; the box was not put into the wall properly. The technician returned a light fixture because the old light fixture worked after all. The place was not cleaned after work was complete. Also, the technician was using billable time when going to Home Depot to return something that he bought by mistake, which should have been on his own time. I was also not given a detailed receipt as well.

I had the pleasure of meeting Anna Imedachvile this year and she is AWESOME! Anna is attentive and exceptionally responsive in creating work tickets and getting techs onsite for service repairs as soon as possible, and just to check in and see how you're doing. And even when she cannot get work assigned immediately, you don't have to follow-up with her and you can rest assured Anna is on top of everything. I have even had issues that were not initiated by Anna, but, who jumped in a solved several problems for me ASAP! Anna is the epitome of Customer Services!! I would recommend anyone to contact Anna Imedachvile and Kolb Electric! Thanks Anna!!!
