Joe Shanahan was amazing! This guy went above the calling and showed up as quickly as possible to assess an electrical fire due to a power surge during the storm last night. Found and resolved the issue within minutes of arriving. I am impressed and thankful for his willingness to keep my family safe! You won't find a better man for the job anywhere!

We had Joe's team come out and install three ceiling fans, install new under cabinet LED lighting, install a new porch light and put a whole- house surge protector on our electrical service. When I first contacted Joe, although they are busy, he made sure to come out as soon as he could in giving us a quote and then putting us on his schedule. Joe Shanahan is professional, has a great sense of humor and knows his business. He gave us a very fair price for the work and also made some recommendations that I really liked and pursued, such as installing a whole-house surge protector. He also saw some shortcomings on our original builder installed under cabinet lighting, that I was having trouble with and suggested to replace with LED's and add extra lights to give more even lighting. This was one thing I am really happy with right now. Joe even called in the cabinet measurements to the lighting company and got us a discount on prices... and that was when he was just giving us a quote. His crew showed up on time, were very professional, worked efficiently, did a great job and cleaned up after they were done. My first experience with Shanahan Electric was definitely five star worthy.
