I am very happy with my experiences with Compare Power. They make the process of navigating, what can be, a pretty confusing, involved process of shopping for a power company and new plan, so easy and stress free. I highly recommend them. They also send out reminder emails for when your term contract is coming to an end so you have time to shop around again with them and decide if staying with your current provider is what’s best or if it’s time to move on. I suggest using their monthly KWh power usage comparison tool when inputting your information to switch, even if it’s only a few months worth of info, so you can see even more clearly who’s power plan offer is best for your budget. It was a horrible experience the rep told me 14 cent Kilowatt and the true rate is 18 cent. I was told they would pay for exit fee to leave my contract with Reliant and that was not true. I regret this experience, very much.

It's the best way to see the tiered plans that are out there and what you would generally be paying. Avoid the door to door sales and long term contracts Compare Power was able to offer plans with providers even their own websites did not offer. Go with the 12 mo plans and stick with Compare Power to compare seems to be the best way to manage your power choice.

It was really easy to shop and compare rates. I also like that you can customize usage and predict costs with each plan. Once I chose a plan, all I had to do was submit my info and they took care of the rest online.
