I had quite a bit of work done, including an outdoor line run to my TuffShed. The guys were easy to work with, no pressure to add additional work, just nice guys doing a nice job of communicating and working hard.

I have worked with Steve Yeager, the owner for a VERY long time, long before he started SJ Electric, and always had a great experience every time. When he started SJ Electric, I of course started working with them hiring them as a subcontractor to me because I knew the quality work he did for me in the past, and would do for me in the future. I, of course was not disappointed. SJ Electric's team are easy to work with, professional, do quality work, and excel with their customer service.

This is the BEST commercial and residential electrical company in Kansas City! My husband is OCD and he was so happy with the work of SJ Electric . Everything was clean, hidden, and perfection! Tell them your vision and they execute! Highly recommend this business! Rain or shine they completed the job (and got soaked in cold windy rain making sure to complete it and did not rush getting it done although the weather was terrible) Can’t give enough stars to SJ! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Very disappointed, if I could leave 0 stars I would. I contacted SJ Electric because I needed an outlet and a circuit installed for a new over the range microwave. I called early in the week, on a Monday or Tuesday I think. I said I was completely flexible, any day during the week and any time would work for me. The person on the phone told me she would put me on the schedule for the current week and someone would call me with a day and time window for when they could come out. Around 4 PM on Friday I called them back because now the week is gone and I haven't heard a word from anyone. No one answered the phone so I left a detailed message, repeating my phone number twice and i never received a call back. I called again the following Monday, left another message, and still never received a call back. I then proceeded to find another electrician who has since completed the job. It has been 2 full weeks now and still no word from SJ Electric. I wouldn't waste your time, they will leave you hanging. Note also that I do always strive to resolve complaints or issues with companies before posting negative reviews as I understand things can happen but In this case there is nothing more I can do when they do not answer the phone or return phone calls.

SJ Electric handled all of my electrical needs upon opening my new business and exceeded expectations. They were always professional, easy to communicate with, and an all around pleasure to work with. They installed pendant lighting, outlets, in-ceiling speakers, volume switches, and more, and I am beyond happy with the results. I’ll be using this company for any of my electrical projects in the future and highly recommend others do as well.

Steve and his crew are professional, have a strong work ethic, have the customer’s interests foremost, are up-to-date on all the technology and product, and strive to deliver the best service possible. They are open to design suggestions and offer their suggestions when requested. I 100% recommend SJ Electric for any electrical project you have—big, small, complicated, easy.

We had Steve Yeager with SJ Electrical LLC come out to our house. We lost power from our house to our shop. He was very prompt, personable, professional and explained what needed to be done. We are very satisfied with the work and the price he gave us. We would definitely recommend Steve Yeager and his electrical team.
