Best experience and the outcome exceeded our expectations going in. I was asking companies to help figure out how to cost effectively and least amount of opening up walls to change the HVAC system in my home so that we didn't have such a huge difference in temperature in the two floors. I got quotes and thoughts from 5 different companies over a year and was never thrilled with the options. We finally got to Hendrix and they were the first company to figure out a solution that could work. I actually went back to another company I had quote me before and asked if the solution would work and their cost. They told me they didn't even think of that and they could not beat the price. That other company also mentioned that Hendrix does the best work in town. So we ended up moving the larger unit I had downstairs up to the attic and have it now controlling temperature on the second and third floors. They installed a smaller unit in the downstairs and changed the ducting to only use the ones for the first floor. I also have a finished room off the back of the house that they installed a mini split. These guys crushed the work even during the hottest week of the summer. They provided window units for us to cool off some rooms while our work was done so we could stay in the house. The work ended up being very non-invasive with opening up wall. The family is absolutely beyond satisfied with the outcome. Hendrix makes you feel like family and that they truly care about what you want and for a fair price. Recommend Hendrix for any work you may need, they will take care of you. They have a new lifelong customer.

Just completed a full AC/Gas Heat Syestem replacement. Hendrix is the real deal. Estimator (Caleb), install/removal team (Matthew, Jayden and Connor) were all exceptional. This was a complete replacement of inside, outside and all ductwork. Customer Service (Natalie) was very helpful and professional. This team was worth the wait and saved me thousands compared to other Hampton and Tidewater businesses that were focused on if you sign today I will give you a discount. Hendrix Heating and Air I highly recommend to all.

We had a great experience from start to finish with Hendrix. We were quickly scheduled for a diagnosis on our AC, received a reasonable bid, and had the work completed a week later. All of the technicians we worked with were professional and helpful. Ran into a small hiccup with the install and had a technician return same day to go above and beyond to fix the issue. Honestly one of the best customer service experiences we’ve had with home repair. Thank you!

OUTSTANDING! I had an AC issue this morning, called this provider, and was scheduled for an appointment that happened within 2 hours of my call! Mr. Nick was so thorough and walked me through the entire diagnostic and repair. He was VERY patient and reassuring. Best decision I have made in a long time ❤️
