The Virtual Electrician

I was apprehensive using this service for the first time but I figured it was worth the gamble vs paying for an in person electrician. I've replaced most of the light switches in the house with rocker or smart switches, so I wasn't totally clueless but I couldn't figure out why my outdoor lights on a 3 way smart switch failed. With Mike's help, I was able to rewire the switch to prove that it was a faulty smart switch even though the app claimed it was working fine. He walked me through replacing both switches with dumb switches and explained what I'd need to do if I wanted to try a smart switch again. Very patient and knowledgeable and would highly recommend.

This is a great service. Very experienced, nice, helpful, and efficient. I’ve used them multiple times for varying degrees of electrical work, and it’s just like having someone there except a lot less money than actually calling someone out. Plus, they are great at explaining things through to build your knowledge if you ever have the same issue or would want to do similar electrical work.

For those of you that are DIYers, being able to diagnose electrical issues can be critical at times. That why I am endorsing The Virtual Electrician. this was too good to be true. I'm working on a very ambitious sub panel installation. I am not an electrician but am very handy. I needed someone to guide me and look over my shoulder. Mike provided that support and more. Could not have done it without him. So glad this type of support is available online.

Mike is awesome guy, he knows what he’s talking about, extremely intelligent about electrical stuff, I watched all his videos and used the information and tricks I learned and put them to use on job sites to help me diagnose faster and more accurately. I highly recommend people to watch and to talk to Mike about there issues, it will save you time and money in the long run!
