I couldn’t be happier with the service from O’Connor & Sons Electric! I had a 100-year-old breaker box that had become a complete rat’s nest, and Tom clearly diagnosed the problem and upgraded us to a modern 200-amp panel. What impressed me most was his expertise and professionalism - he knew exactly what needed to be done, explained everything clearly, and completed the job quickly without cutting any corners. They may not be the cheapest option, but you absolutely get what you pay for with expert craftsmanship and the peace of mind that comes with properly done electrical work. Highly recommend for any electrical needs, especially major upgrades like panel replacements!

We needed an electrical panel upgrade and possible sub panel. I had heard about Tom from a neighbor and called. He came the next day with his son Jesse, gave an estimate, explained the process and got the ball rolling. This was not a simple job. He is clearly an expert electrician but he also understands the ins and outs of the Palo Alto process. I could not believe how quickly he got things done and with the needed inspections along the way. He advised on sub panel and other electrical needs, looking at the future and where we may need upgrading. We had landscaping lighting not working and they trouble shot that and it is now all working beautifully! They were on time, courteous, and did excellent work. I have absolute trust in the quality of the work. A wonderful job and we will call Tom and family in the future. I could not recommend this company more!

Tom (the owner) answered the phone the first time I called. He was very experienced and knowledgeable and took the time to talk with us multiple times, understand our problems, and explain possible solutions to us, all off the clock, so that he could be optimally efficient when we were paying him to work. We really appreciate that. We’re still in the midst of having our repairs done. I look forward to writing a follow up review when our work is done. Our work is finished now. Tom was able to investigate, diagnose, and repair our problem, using a part he had on his truck, thus saving a trip to the store and added expense. I hired Tom to take care of very specific projects on our older house in Palo Alto. We needed some new plugs, light switches and fixtures switched from the originals. He and his son, Jesse, did the work quickly, efficiently and with great expertise. He advised me on purchasing some fixtures that would work better than the ones that I purchased, and he offered a very simple and affordable solution to a problem. Tom is the absolute best. Both for commercial and residential work he and his crew are absolute professionals. No nonsense and very skilled and knowledgeable. He helped us out at our business and was fast, efficient and did great work, which really saved us downtime, getting us back up and running same day.
