Current Electric Systems

Current Electric was the least expensive and highest quality of customer service of the 3 bids we received. Fully updated the house from old fuses to new breaker panel and external service from the power line. They came in under budget, one time, and had great communication. We have a 1954 house and we will have them back when we do some other remodeling. I cannot recommend them enough. High quality, great prices, great communication. They also let us know of some other issues for the future, prioritized them, and gave us estimates.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Current Electric Systems on two separate home projects, and we couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, their professionalism, quality of work, and customer service have been exceptional. Our first project involved installing new light fixtures in the living room. Shortly after, we noticed a circuit would short when we used the vacuum. When we called, they were incredibly responsive and came back promptly to fix the issue without any hesitation. Everything has worked perfectly ever since. Because of that positive experience, we were more than happy to hire them again for a switch re-wiring job. Once again, they exceeded our expectations. They are incredibly transparent about their project estimates and take the time to explain what factors might affect the overall cost. That level of honesty and clarity is rare and very much appreciated. Every interaction, from Beth in the office to Jason the owner, has been friendly, helpful, and professional. I would highly recommend Current Electric for any electrical work you need done. Jason and Beth are amazing. We had a spa hook up project and recessed lighting placement completed. The whole process from quote to completion was well organized and highly professional. Work was completed per the schedule they communicated. Everyone is friendly and professional. We will be using them for any future electrical work.

We've worked with Jason, Beth, and the rest of the team on a couple projects now and they have been nothing but exceptional. Having an old home, we're dealing with decades of patch jobs, incongruent wiring work, and evolving technological capabilities. Long story short, inside our walls is a bit of a mess. Jason and his team have helped us remediate a lot of the red flags in our wiring, while always remaining above board, professional, and communicative. Quality installation, great price, okay communication. Two EV chargers were installed in my garage, which also required a meter upgrade. On there communication: • Current Electric was very helpful during while getting a quote, providing a clear options for the installation. • The day of the installation, the power needed to be off at the house. While I knew the power needed to be cut at some point, it was not made explicitly clear that it would happen that day, nor that it would be cut for the whole day. • During the installation, one of the installers broke a couple of things (Troy B.; a light bulb, a wall mount for my modem), and while minor, I was not informed at any point. • The plastic covers for the EV chargers were swapped, so the chargers had the wrong serial numbers. Current Electric did come back out and corrected the mistake. • They quoted that the chargers would be on one breaker, with the chargers sharing power. They instead installed each charger on a separate breaker. While they didn't do the work as quoted, the way it is installed is actually better for me, so I'm not complaining. Overall, I would still go with Current Electric, due largely to their economical pricing.

It takes a lot for a contractor to impress me, and I’m happy to say that everyone at Current Electric Systems exceeded my expectations! Excellent communication, workmanship, knowledge, and respect all for a reasonable price. I upgraded my old 100 amp service to 200 in preparation for future appliances, which was fairly straight forward in terms of complication, but Jason and his team were so pleasant to work with that I would happily hire them in the future and recommend them to friends!

Professionalism all-around! We contacted Current Electric in early May about having a new 220 line installed for a swimspa. Adhering to safety due to covid we comunicated initially by email. Jason came out the next day to provide a precise quote. Social distancing, masks, and hand hygiene all top notch! The prepared quote was the most professional quote we've ever received from any contractor. The day of the electric job was also the day the swimspa was being delivered. Jason and crew arrived early to do preps before the spa was hoisted into place. When the crane arrived to hoist the swimspa, Jason and crew took their lunch break to allow the other contractor to do their thing. Excellent time management! Once the spa was set, it was wired up fairly quickly. The crew did a great job cleaning up afterwards. They were also very kind to our dogs. Funny thing, they placed little flags in the yard to mark out where the dog poop was at. It was a hoot! Highly, highly, highly recommend Current Electric Systems. We have a few more electric jobs coming up and will not hesitate to give them the call for the job. Thanks again!
