I DON'T LIKE TO LEAVE BAD REVIEWS BUT I WANT TO WARN YOU: Discussed different exhaust fan options with Ron. I picked one for $198 and was provided a quote plus charge per hour. The day came for the guy to come install. He stays in there for about two hours and then comes out and says, "I was sweeping for an hour." I grabbed my vacuum and was thinking, Seriously dude? I cleaned it up myself. My bathroom is literally like 30–35 sq. feet. Next, I get the invoice. The price for the fan on their invoice was higher than agreed upon, plus they charged me the two hours. So I am pissed. I called and said "absolutely not" in so many words. Then I didn't hear from them for about 3 months. Eventually, they call and say that my invoice was adjusted. I asked them to send me a new one. They do, promptly. The exhaust price was accurate, as agreed at the beginning. Yet they still charged me $60.00 for that technician sweeping for an hour. I'm extremely disappointed and want to warn others. Pay close attention to your invoice, and make sure to time the technicians. Should probably closely monitor them as well. Maybe provide your people with vacuums, claiming an hour's time is $120.00 dollars. That's pretty darn close to stealing out of peoples pockets. DISAPPOINTED and will not do business with them again OR recommend. The two stars (which is generous) was for readjusting the invoice a wee-bit. Just not good enough.

Ron came out to our house this week.Incredible!Answered all questions in a way wife and I understood. Gave us a clear, great estimate AND fixed a problem when he was here. Thanks Ron and Sunset Electric!

We bought a house in Poulsbo in 2022 and were aware Sunset had been the primary electrician used by the previous owners, so we suggested them to the contractor we selected when we started a renovation project. When communication was poor between Contractor and Sunset, we attempted to communicate directly so we could resolve some unfinished work and never got a response from James after multiple attempts. My husband is trouble-shooting and finishing their unfinished work and what we feel we paid for. At the time they were onsite, they left a mess of wire and other debris for us to cleanup including a live wire hanging from the basement ceiling that my husband was smart enough to test before handling it. Aside from the frustration we experienced related to quality of work, ghosting us as the home owners is the most disappointing.

Didn’t finish job properly. Won’t return my emails or phone messages. Had to hire someone else.

James and Crew over at Sunset Electric are nothing but top notch! We have worked with them on several projects, and they always go above and beyond. Highly recommend!!

James was an awesome electrician to work with. He was very professional, gave a detailed estimate, and helped us when PSE didn't put the power back on after his install was completed. He double checked his work and provided a peace of mind approach showing he is dedicated to quality customer service. We will be using his services for future projects and I strongly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about Sunset electric Northwest. I was having difficulty getting my portable generator to power a existing installation set up from when my house was built. Gavin gave me outstanding customer service and even tried to troubleshoot my problem via text before they even came out. I have never had a contractor do that before. We were not able to resolve the issue via text so I scheduled a appointment. The two electricians that came out were also outstanding. They were friendly and knowledgeable and just fantastic to deal with. They resolved my generator hook up problem in short order and even detected a electrical short from one of my electrical junction boxes where a cover screw had penetrated one of the inside wires through the insulation and was causing a short. They just had outstanding attention to detail and were very competent. In my experience with both Gavin and the two electricians I could not give a higher recommendation to them and I won’t hesitate to call them for any electrical needs I have in the future. Eric
