Rochester Local Handyman & Contractor

I had been trying to get my leaky kitchen sink fixed for 2 weeks. Other companies either gave me the run around or were booked weeks out. I made one phone call to this company and they sent a tech out to my house within 30 minutes. The tech was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. I didn’t even have to ask him to take his shoes off (doesn’t sound like a big deal, but have had workers come into my home before and not do it). He fixed the problem, ensured it worked and then cleaned the mess. It all took less than 30 minutes. It was also very affordable. I didn’t feel like I was getting screwed over because I didn’t know anything about how to fix the problem (which I feel like happens a lot). I plan on doing renovations to my home in the near future and they will definitely be the company I will be using.

I had arranged for them to install a ceiling fan at 5pm for my tenants and they never showed up. He said he showed up at 5pm and left at 5:08pm because no one was here. My tenants never leave, they're a retired couple and have had the front door wide open all day (because there's no light in that room which is literally what the job was for), sitting in that front room watching the Chauvin verdict. He blamed it on a miscommunication but if that is true why did he not even come to the door? My tenants knew he was coming and they were on the lookout for him to let him in but no one came to the door or even up the driveway, I reviewed the security camera footage. I said it was incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional, he tried to reschedule for the next day but after you essentially lie very clearly about what you actually did, why on earth would I utilize your service?

Spoke with Jimmy and scheduled an appointment for him to come out and look at the prospective job and get a quote. He scheduled me for a 9am appointment which he didn’t show or call and Okay maybe he was tied up with another job and couldn’t call. Later in the day I called him and again he said he would me at my place at 7pm no show no call. So the moral to this story is believe the reviews

Horrible company to deal with. Jimmy claimed to have parts on order for a door for three months. Constant calling for updates and always saying "tomorrow". Not an honest company and not an honest person. Stay away.

I called an scheduled an install for Thursday. Since I am new to the area I was out of town but raced back the 6 hours to meet with this contractor. He never showed, claiming to have incorrect contact information. We rescheduled for Friday.......again......No show. Don't waste your time.

Keeps saying they will show up and never shows up.

Super fast response shows up quickly and gets the job done right every time i am amazed at how great simba is very friendly and great prices no one else in rochester compares as a young real estate investor simba is a life saver for other real estate investors or primary residence needs forget everybody else this is the guy and go to business!!
