Nice person, (Jerry Routon) failed to inform any damage done by tech (Mario Obispo) is home owners to fix. Way over priced for work and damage done. Sent inexperienced tech. Mr Sparky says on time service, appraiser arrived 1 hour after 2 hour window. Did not inform what or how work was to be done. Worst was when Mario left in a hurry he left back gate and service panel both open, so little dog could eacape. Never again! Posted 4 Nov Update. Contacted by Sparkey (REVIEWS HURT) willing to make good on issues. Reduced cost and apologized for apprentice working without supervision, Hopefully they have corrected their problems. Maybe I will try again, with hightened supervision, and detailed how and why.

Leif was amazing to work with. Nothing but honest and work was done very well. Came same day with the estimate, which was very reasonable, and had it done within a few hours. Did an inspection of my whole house electrically which he didn’t charge for. Would use him again in a heartbeat!

I am so glad I called Mister Sparky!! This company is a class act and from the minute I met our Electrician Chris K I was put at ease that I made the right call. I knew there were electrical issues with our condo and it was confirmed after Chris performed a very through safety inspection. Super impressed how complex the inspection was and the report was comprehensive. Chris explained all the issues in detail and also gave made sure I understood the services they provide so I could make an informed decision. I will be a customer for life!!

About 2-3 months ago we received a quote from Mister Sparky for two new 110/120V outlet/circuits. One was going to be approx 75 feet from the panel and the other approx 10-15 feet from the panel. However, they were unable or unwilling to simply provide a quote for that work. Before they did, they had to inspect the entire system and all outlets, switches, etc. in the house "for their safety." As it turns out, it’s not for their safety, it’s so they can identify any minor issue (even those that are up to code, but may not be modern best practices) and attempt to up charge you. During their whole house inspection, they found what they claimed to be, many issues that were not best practices. They ultimately provided 3 quotes. One was just the work we wanted done, the second quote was the "intermediate package" that included other work that was not asked for or requested, and the third was the "premium tier" that included a damn-near full electrical rework of the house. These ranged from $5,000-$20,000. Even the minimum tier, that only included work we asked for, included grounding our house. They claimed our house wasn’t grounded and therefore wouldn’t do the work unless that was done. Sounds reasonable, right? Except our house IS grounded, a simple fact they would have discovered if they would have unscrewed a cover right below our panel. They wanted approx. $1,200 to ground it (again). In the "premium" package, they wanted to sell us three CO detectors for $500/ea ($1,500). They retail at Lowe’s for $60/ea. And they simply stick up on the wall…these weren’t hard-wired ones or anything. Zero skill involved in the install. In any event, we ended up having the work done by a smaller, "mom and pop" business for a fraction of the cost. In summary, while I’m confident these guys know what they’re doing, they’re also going to try to scare you into work that you haven’t asked for and that quite frankly, may not need. Fun side note, the electrician argued with me in my own house about some of this work. I wish 0 stars was an option, but it isn’t.

Initial work on quote looked excellent, first part of install smooth, haven't finished job Job is finished and everything done well I thought. Turns out job done very poorly. Water heater went out with in 3 days. Called plumber and had new water heater installed . Didn't work so troubled shot electrical. Bad breaker. installed by Mister sparky. So water heater was only getting 120v instead of 240v. Would not recommend to worst enemy. Repair for their work cost me $580. Forgot very expensive.

The Mister Sparky electrician arrived at my house right on time. He was very polite and professional. Before doing any work he tried to upsell me on what amounts to a service plan. While priced high for the services that would be rendered, I carefully considered the offer but ultimately turned it down. I explained that I simply needed a light switched changed out. I had changed out others myself but this one was giving me trouble for some unknown reason. Also, if he had time, one other switch was working intermittently. The technician typed into his iPad and then showed me the price to be charged on the iPad. $470 for what might take 30 minutes at most. I thanked him for his time and sent him on his way. In my opinion, as a licensed general contractor, their pricing is outrageous.

I had the pleasure to meet with Jerry Routon, the technician who came out to look at a light issue in our kitchen. Jerry was very personable, knowledgeable and thorough and Mister Sparky came in at the most reasonable price for the repairs I needed. Jerry also found several other issues that I was not aware of that I will be using their service for. All in all, based on my experience so far, I would highly recommend Mister Sparky, they have reasonable pricing, offer financing and are very knowledgeable and provide fast service. 5 stars for these guys!!!
