It is 96 degree heatwave outside today and the two gentlemen from Cedar Electrical Services did an excellent job re-installing two outdoor lights that had been improperly installed by another company. They notified me that they were on the way, arrived early, worked well and very neatly, and asked me questions along the way to ensure that the lights were installed exactly as I wished. The deck light and the basement access light are just the way I wanted them to be. In addition, both gentlemen were very polite and professional. I am very pleased with their service and will definitely use them in the future. It was a pleasure doing business with Cedar Electrical Service.

The guys arrived on time, respectful, did a great job installing the new recessed lights, and cleaned. Kudos! They were also able to complete the new wiring with minimal cuts to the ceiling sheet rock, which I was especially pleased about. Recommended!

*UPDATE on their great work for us in early October* We recently had Mauricio return to work on a few items at our property, and once again he did an amazing job along with his colleague. Sam was our initial point of contact—he came out to walk through the project and provide an estimate, which we found to be very competitive. Sam is incredibly outgoing and knowledgeable, offering thoughtful suggestions throughout the walkthrough that we truly appreciated. With his technical background, he was quick to spot and explain several issues from previous electrical work we had done by another contractor. On the day of the job, Mauricio and Cole arrived right on time, and Will joined later to help expedite the process. Mauricio stood out for his deep technical expertise and professionalism—he served as the main communicator, walking us through each step of the process and making sure we were always in the loop. He and Cole worked efficiently and carefully, completing all tasks to a high standard. Will also did a great job handling the external light fixtures and helped ensure everything was completed the same day. The team left our home spotless, cleaning and vacuuming after the work was done. The only minor issue was a couple of small dents on the floor likely caused by heavy ladders, but we’re confident that had we raised it, they would have taken care of it—they clearly care about doing right by their customers. We're genuinely impressed by their work and look forward to building a long-term relationship with both the team and the company.

Cedar Electrical is simply amazing. I had a project to replace an old fan and install a new box/fan. I tried it all: a TaskRabbit freelancer, another large, well-rated electrical company, and finally—my happy find—Cedar. The TaskRabbit freelancer didn’t quite know how to handle the project, and the other company gave me an outrageous estimate in the thousands. Cedar, on the other hand, was a lifesaver. They provided a quick and very reasonable estimate, worked around my schedule, and sent a wonderful crew—Mauricio and Charlie—who completed the project with expertise and attention to detail. I plan to use Cedar Electrical for all of our electrical needs going forward.

Joe, Mauricio and Charles did an excellent job installing my Aladdin lite lift and my chandelier. They were professional, knowledgeable and respectful.
