I’ve worked with Philip and Adam on several projects — installing new outlets, a pendant light, some breaker work and most recently an Ethernet run. They were always responsive, friendly and easy to work with. On the networking project, they came back multiple times to help diagnose and resolve a tricky issue, and I really appreciated their persistence and attention to detail. As someone who’s pretty particular, I was impressed with the quality of their work and how reasonably priced they were. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.
We used Epie’s a couple of years ago to replace a fuse box at a NE Atlanta rental house. They were very reliable, friendly, prompt and reasonable. We just had them come to our house in NW Atlanta for frequent brownouts getting worse over the past year. Phillip arrived within a day and isolated the problem to the outside electric company above ground neutral line (most likely squirrel related). Phillip even called Ga Power for us from our house. Ga Power also came and repaired w/in 24 hours. No more brown outs since and our EV charger doesn’t cut off from power fluctuations anymore.
Can't say enough good things about Brian and Fidel who came to work on a few tasks around the house. They were professional, efficient, and exceptional at completing a fan installation, a flood light, an outdoor outlet and two oull chains. I would absolutely have them come and work on my home in the future. Thank you, Epie’s for hiring such great individuals .
You don't have to read all this to know I was extremely pleased with the quality of the work, it looks rock solid and bullet proof , as outside electrical sources should be.The work was done with virtually no mess. I've had people do work at my house and leave a junkyard I was also very pleased with the quality of the people I dealt with. When Dan, the owner of Epies arrived at my house to look and provide an estimate and consultation, I was working outside and a bit nuts from the heat. He listened patiently while I tried to explain what I wanted to do. He offered up 3 scenarios at three price points. He took his time and was really knowledgeable. There was no pressure at all. To me that is the mark of a professional and good business man. He left me to consider the options . The electrician, Dewayne called ahead and said he could come earlier which was not a problem. He was a very friendly man , very professional. He had had not been present at the consultation so there was a little disconnect from what he read on the estimate and where we (Dan and I) had finally agreed the new outside outlets would be. The difference was perhaps two feet but that would require an extra a box mounted on the outside basement wall and some conduit along the wall to rout the power to the outlets mounted on the wall on the back deck which sits in front of. concrete slab. I was a little worried a first, but I agreed to the estimate which clearly details the amount of materials and, this is business, so I thought I might have to pay more. I called Dan to discuss it. We talked for a minute about our previous meeting. Dan then talked to Dewayne. When Dewayne hung up, he informed me that he would proceed with installation as Dan and I had discussed it and that the cost would still be the same. I was more than thrilled by this, but I was also very impressed. This is how you treat people. This is how you do business. So. I will be using Epies Electrical Services whenever I need electrical work and I highly recommend them , 5 stars. A+
I’m so thrilled to say I have finally found my "electrician for life!" in Epie’s and in Phillip! Called them after a bad storm with a serious power surge, and Phillip came out and was super honest and educated me about my concerns and the electrical that runs in my house. 12/10 amazing service, and if you’re looking for an Electrician, Epie’s is the only one!
I got quotes from 2 other electrical companies. Brite Box came in at $5000 for 2 exhaust installs, 1 exhaust replacement and 1 light installed, plus $79 fee for estimate. Mr. Electric was $3000 but we had not added the light. I saw an ad on the back of UP CLOSE newsletter for Epie's. They gave free estimates so I had nothing to lose. The young men came a few hours ago and OMG, what a team. The price was less than half of Brite Box at $2100 and they included the fans. All I had to buy was the light fixture. And the estimate was FREE. I don't think I'll use anyone else. Since my last post above, I've used them for 2 more projects however: The first job caused some damages that they had to repair. In doing that repair they caused 2 roof boots to come off. Their own technician said that someone would come to fix the drywall, not knowing that the roof boot was pushed out. They simply closed them back but did not seal them. No one came, even though I called several times. Last year the ceiling in the mudroom started to show a wet hole. We hired a handyman to repair the drywall and that's when we found out about the roof boots. I didn't contact EPIES, but the same problem showed up a few weeks ago in the family room, next to the vent that was not repaired. I called to request filing a claim for their insurance to compensate me for just one, although they damaged 2. I talked to the NEW OWNER Phil, who said he would not help me because it was apparent that all of this happened before he took ownership. Not a good way to do or keep business. Guess I gotta find a new electrical service. Fixing home problems can become a nightmare when the fixer makes it worse.
I have used Epie's for many years and have always had a great experience with them. They have done everything from my ceiling fan and light where there wasn't even an electrical outlet and they had to create one, they redid my electrical panel, which was not up to code at the time and they brought it up to code, and more recently they created a plug for me so that I could buy a new dryer. My old one was originally hardwired to the breaker panel. For this last job, Adam Garcia came and created the plug. He explained what had happened with the original dryer, which was at least 20 years old, and how he put the plug in for the new dryer. But more importantly, he allowed my dog to be herself when she jumped up to give kisses.
