If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! I had an excellent experience with Copperfield Electric of Irvine. The electrician, Rene, did an exceptional job installing my new EV charger and running a new line from the backyard to the front yard. Both he and the office administrator spent several hours on the phone with me, even before I signed the contract, helping me secure the necessary permit and answering all my questions. They’re extremely knowledgeable, offer very competitive pricing, and deliver professional, high-quality work. The job was completed on schedule, and they cleaned up thoroughly afterward. I highly recommend this company and will definitely choose them again for future projects.

I am so happy with the job Copperfield Electric did replacing my electrical panel and installing an EV charger. Staff members I dealt with (Eduardo and Rene) were great; experienced, professional, informative and made sure the job was done right. They gave me a referral to Nevarez Plastering who did a great job with repairing the stucco. The best part of choosing Copperfield was working with their office manager, Haily. She coordinated every part of the job, including permitting, installation and inspections with the city and SCE. Haily provided great communication and quickly answered all of my questions. If you need an electrician, I highly recommend Copperfield.

I had Copperfield Electric put in a new electric panel. Rene and Eddie arrived on time and worked for several hours doing a clean and thorough job. They are easy to interact with and happy to answer questions. Haily at the office was very helpful in getting things set up and answering my questions. All around a happy experience with this company. Now to just get final approvals and the stucco work done to close it all up. Thanks Haily, Rene and Eddie!

Rene has helped us on three different occasions now with our home Tesla charger! He is always on time, super helpful, very knowledgeable and a super nice man to work with! We will continue to use Copperfield for all our needs!

Rene and his colleague Eddie have been handling a multi-day job that includes the installation of a new 200 amp SPAN electrical panel, a SPAN Drive Level 2 EV charger, new LED lighting for the pool and spa, and replacement of bedroom sconces that were originally installed by another company but had since begun flickering. Throughout the process, Rene and Eddie have been consistently respectful of the property. They maintained a clean, organized worksite and made a clear effort to leave no stray wire clippings or hardware behind at the end of each day. The work itself has been neat and precise, and Rene took time to clearly explain each component of what was being installed—something that inspired confidence and demonstrated his thorough knowledge. Equally noteworthy has been the communication from Haily, the office manager. She has been consistently responsive, clear, and helpful, making coordination seamless. As expected, Rene and his team returned for the next phase of the installation with the same professionalism, care, and respect for the property that impressed me from day one. The additional work was performed cleanly and thoughtfully, with clear attention to detail. As is often the case with new technology, we encountered a few issues—specifically with the SPAN Level 2 Charger. What stood out was Rene’s diligence and integrity in troubleshooting. Rather than guessing, he took the time to call SPAN’s technical support directly to clarify and resolve the problem. That willingness to say, "I don’t know, but I’ll find out," is increasingly rare and speaks volumes about his professionalism. We had to schedule a follow-up visit, and Rene even offered to come out on Father’s Day Sunday to ensure we’d be able to charge as soon as possible. While we didn’t take him up on the offer, the gesture was deeply appreciated and consistent with the above-and-beyond service I’ve come to expect from him. Everything is now working flawlessly. Rene never minded me asking questions or observing the work—he welcomed it, and answered each inquiry with patience and clarity. Highly recommended.
