Evergy Service Center - Wichita

I just don’t like energy companies.. imagine cutting off energy to a baby because we can’t pay oh but wait.. the CEO needs more fuel for his jet! Oh I’m sorry thaaaaats why you take energy from babies and make people suffer! I get it my bad I’ll make sure to pay so you can have your jet fuel for your $3,000,000 private jet

Why doesn't Evergy provide 24/7 service and promptly respond to outages when it occurs?? Nobody should be waiting 10 hours to get the power back on... where's the responsibility of ensuring service? Xcel energy usually responded to outages and had the power back on within 1-2 hours after the power outage happened. I have to say that Xcel energy is way better at responding to outages than evergy has been. Can we get Xcel energy to move here instead or to provide coverage here in Wichita??

What a joke. This is what happens when a company is allowed to have a monopoly on goods or services. They want to give you the least amount of Service, the lowest amount of quality, and the most expensive rates.

Can't say if the customer service is bad or not since they never answer- doesn't matter what the rating is if it's a monopoly anyhow. Warning to anyone moving into this town- this company sucks.

This is the only energy company I have ever used that does not have a customer service contact. And yes I have called the number on the website and Google dozens of times. Nobody ever answers

Evergy is terrible. I missed a little on planed now they want me to Pay about 600.00 that is outrageous . To me this company is money grabbing people they got to be a better electric company than this .,

They have the most confusing billing practices and then take no accountability for it
