Electric Gate Repair Long Beach

The other reviews must be fake as this seemed like scam company and there is no way their prices are reasonable. I had an electric gate that registered an obstruction error. I called and they came right out saying they work everyday. There was a $39 diagnostic fee but then when he came out on a Sunday he proceeded to tell me I needed a new chain at a cost of $80 per lineal foot. He said I had a 25' chain so they wanted to charge me $2,000 JUST FOR THE CHAIN, plus another $475 to adjust the limits. I googled the chains and saw this was an outrageous price. He said they were galvanized chains but that he could reduce the chain cost to $1,625, which is still gouging and way overpriced. He then adjusted the limits which amounted to about 20 minutes of work to turn the plastic stops and told me that would be $475. I said there was no way it could be that much for 20 minutes and he said I was paying for his knowledge!!! Then he produced a written estimate which had another company name on it, something like Infinity Builders which wasn't even the company I called. I should have caught this when the guy showed up in a personal car, not a work truck. I think the "Electric Gate Repair Long Beach" company must be some website name or a scam. I cancelled everything, he put the limits stops back to the original position, and I paid his $39 "diagnostic fee" and called a reputable company, Otto Gates. They came out a few days later. They told me I only needed 20 feet of chain and the cost was $5.00 per foot, or $100 for the chain (compared to the initial $2,000 this company wanted to charge me). They new company charged me a $175 service fee for coming out which included adjusting the limits. So the total price was $275 vs. the $2,475 this company wanted to charge (or $2,100 after offering me a "discount"). I would not use this company, even for a second quote.

We had an issue with our front automatic gate. They came out to inspect it and they provided us with detailed proposal and fair price to repair the gate. They repair the limit switches and they replaced the damaged motherboard. Excellent communication and knowledgeable technician. He did a perfect job and he was able to finish the job in less than an hour. Excellent service.

They sent a technician that showed up on time to look at our automatic gate. he was able to find the problem and to fix it rifgt away. He replaced the chain for our rolling gate. He was very honest, polite and knowledgeable. He did a great work. Really great company and great service.

I can't praise the technician highly enough. He arrived at my house less than 30 minutes after I called this afternoon on a Sunday. He repaired the gate in a flash and with the utmost professionalism. This kind of exceptional service, especially on a Sunday, continues to wow me. I'm very appreciative and will absolutely give this business my highest recommendation.
