UPDATE 23 May We had another electrician come out to the house today that provided us with the following code violations during installation. These Are The Issues That I Have Found 1) Double Luging Of The Neutral (2002 NEC Code 408.41) 2) Double Luging Of The Ground ( 2002 NEC Code 250) 3) Cut Neutral Wires Left On The Neutral Bar. (NEC Code 725.25 And 800.25) 4) Extending Only Some Of The Neutral Wires Correctly 5) Half Of The Neutral Wires Are Not Extend Correctly And Just Have New Wires Landed On The Neutral Bar And Ran To ATS 6) All Ground Wires Just Have New Wire Added On To The Ground Bar And Extended Over TO ATS. 7) Improperly Terminated Circuits On Breakers (ATS) 8) Improperly Terminated Neutral Wires On Neutral Bar.(ATS) 9) Open Breaker Slots On The Panels Dead Front. (NEC Article 100) 10) Damaged Sheetrock (From Previous Electrical Contractor) 11) Improper Termination Of Circuits Has Caused A Couple Of Light’s In The House To Start To Flicker 12) Improper Termination Of Circuits Has Caused Several Outlet’s In The Home To Not Work Correctly. (Showing Hot/Neutral Reverse) 13) Improper Terminations Of Circuits Has Caused 120 Volts To Be Present On Neutral Wire’s Which Has Caused The Integrity Of The Electrical Devices (Plugs And Switches) To Start To Break Down. 14) stripped out screw on neutral bar in ecoflow. 1 Apr: EMSR was contracted through a vendor to install a smart home panel. The entire install was hazardous and inappropriate. Here is a summary of the issues during install as well as the photos. 1. Gaps were left in the house main circuit panel after the 12 circuits were moved to the smart panel. 2. The electrician from Electrical Maintenance Service and Repair (EMSR) brought two additional people to the job. During talks with a female that showed up. She informed me that she was on the phone with the unemployment office and that she was having problems with them to meet the job requirements to keep her unemployment income. The woman was tasked to do multiple components of the electrical wiring when I checked in with the crew. I really don't feel good about someone that is not full time employed by the company doing this work that was paid for. 3. The company did not communicate with the electrician effectively to let him know which smart home panel was being installed. This led to some negative comments from the electrician about the failed communication and possible issues with the install because he wasn't adequately prepared or supplied to do the job. 4. The company left a large hole cut in the drywall after the job was done. I asked about the coverage of the hole and was told that "usually the customer fills the hole". I asked if it was covered under my install fee and the electrician grabbed the cut-out sheet rock pieces and put them sloppily back in the hole. 5. The job took significantly longer than was originally quoted. This install took all evening. 6. They move a breaker and didn't remove the cover the circuit breaker panel. The panel was applied directly over the circuit so we couldn't even access it. The panel couldn't even sit flush against the wall because of this this. 7. We had another electrician come out to check the work and were told that there are several components of the install that were not performed to code and would not pass an inspection. Here are some positives: 1. The electrician was overall very nice. 2. The electrician was very helpful in answering questions. 3. The electrician was nice enough to answer a few unrelated Electrical questions without having to do any additional work. 4. The electrician took the time to ensure I was comfortable with the system and that everything was hooked up from the DPU to the SHP2 correctly. 5. Even though the install was long and incorrect, I appreciate deeply that the electrician was willing to take his time and ensure that the system worked correctly and that I was comfortable and understanding of the system before he left. His drive was multiple hours back to home/office.

I'm a residential contractor and worked with Michael a Master Electrician for the first time. We did 5 attic conversions. Had a wonderful experience. He was a timely and clear communicator as to spect. He did the work, we passed inspections. Not a problem whatsoever ever… In all, Michael is extremely knowledgeable about his craft and I can tell he cares about the quality of his craft .His prices are also very fair. I highly recommend him to customers without thought. His knowledge and experience is what makes my business unique.
