My electric bill has been outrageous for a few years. I have put timers on electronics so that if my kids leave them on they will turn off after so long with no activity. Every light bulb in my house is LED. I have replaced all my windows. New insulation. Had an energy audit done, they added even more insulation in my attic. Even bought a new energy efficient HVAC unit. Bill still continues to get higher and higher. Strangest part is that a few years ago they came and switched out my meter. Bill has been high since then. I swear that meter is defective. I have called them multiple times about it but they keep telling me there is nothing wrong with my meter. Even though they have never sent anyone out to look at it. They have no competition in the area I live and it is not uncommon for people in my area with homes under 2,000 sq ft to have bills of $600+. Definitely feels like it has monopolized.

This has to be one of the worst companies ever to exist and unfortunately there’s nothing anyone can do about switching to another because they have the monopoly in this area. I finally was able to move and switch to first Electric to a larger home that is almost 1500sqft And my bill has dropped by almost $100 a month compared to when I had Entergy in an 1100sqft home. My old neighbors have all been complaining about their bills being extremely high this last month some increasing as much as $120 since last month. I hate that they are forced to use Entergy Because they don’t have a choice. When you call Entergy and ask them why your bill has increased they can’t ever give you an answer and they talk in circles.

One of the most greedy, soul sucking garbage corporations. Truly useless to the people of arkansas. Hike up prices, have the most idiotic turn on and off processes for electric. Can't differentiate between a business account and a home account. But they've created an (what should be illegal) monopoly on the people of arkansas. They are one of the biggest electricity providers so you literally have to use them depending on where your located which allows them to continue thus crappy subpar services because they don't have to worry about competition!

Very expensive; I travel for work (2-3+ weeks per month) and only had 1 month’s bill below $100. Paying over $250 for a month I was gone from the 3rd to the 25th with all appliances turned off/unplugged and the A/C set to the mid 70s is lucrative. I moved on the 30th of that month, so there’s no overlap to account for that.

Wouldn’t even give 1 star but y'all need to know y'all don’t care about your paying customers. We still have no power like always and for some reason it was stated our power has been restored per usual when it AINT. WE don’t get government support for our food that’s been wasted. Yall are leaving elderly without access to their life support machines. Seen y'all's trucks pass us up multiple times on different occasions for simple fixes. No excuse. Glad y'all can run to everyone else and successfully store their power. Give us to First Electric they are better than y'all. Especially because they provide internet. Yall don’t provide nothing, not even the gratitude to keep our power outage on the map.

Most of the time, they do their jobs well, but after the an outage last year where my house and my neighbor kept reporting our power out and being told it was on, the trucks all left us without power for almost 2 days. After losing power yesterday in the storm, they serviced the entire town and sent 5 notifications our power was restored while it was still out. Then, they sent an email stating a crew was there working on the issue, and the crew didn't show up for almost 4 hours. It's been 24 hrs since power went out, the crews all went home at 10 pm last night and 1 crew showed up this morning to do the work of 2 crews. That's why we have gotten updates from 10 am restoration to 2pm to 4 pm. Normally, y'all do a pretty good job, but you need to fix the notification issue because it is insulting to your customers. Also, send the right number of crews out to fix a problem. They could quickly fix this issue affecting 25 homes then go up the road to join the 15 other crews on replacing power poles.

My power went out Saturday 4-5-2025@11:00am. Because I had 2 large limbs in my yard by my Electrical Pole they could not restore my power. As of 4-7-2025 @ 12:15pm we remove the limbs and I call Entergy to let them know and the customer service representative said she would put in an Emergency Response for me. At 1:04 pm 4-7-2025 I received a text message saying my power was restored, but the lines are snapped from the utility poles. So I called Entergy back again to file a power outage and I received a text message back saying it would be on by 10:00pm 4-7-2025. I'm the only one without power in my mobile home Park. I've been over 50 hours without power.
