Every time it gets cold here in Texas they joke about if people think ERCOT will do their job. We all know they won't. But like clock work the coldest day of the year they're asking us to conserve and still grid goes black. Every hottest day the same. We really need a new provider. Not everyone can just hop a plane and go to Mexico soon as the weather changes for the worse.

I think giving money to shut down bit coin operators would have been better invested in putting solar panels on every roof possible. With a battery for storage we could have local mini grids. They would help balance the load for the entire grid. We need to invest in people and not corporations.

Issuing a weather watch in May when temps are 90 is laughable, if you aren't prepared for 90 what happens when we hit 110? Either fix the grid or connect to the national grid. Who does ERCOT even benefit and why do we pay these board members 6 figure salaries?

If your primary focuses are to "Maintain system reliability. · Facilitate a competitive wholesale market. · Facilitate a competitive retail market.", yall FAILED over 35k customers. Thousands of us are STILL without power due to your failure to maintain system reliability. For over 65 consecutive hours in 100F weather, a few have died and many injured from using generators alone. Many hospitalized from heat stroke. Not to mention accidents caused from traffic lights not working. Some of us need to use medical equipment to sleep! If we don't sleep we expeience more accidents, more unhappiness, and more mental health and physical health problems! But I guess leadership and being responsible is a thing of the past.

Why is ERCOT and PUC so LAME (LowAvailableMentalExpression). Adding 3000MW is NOT going to happen when needed, as this should have been implemented in early 2021, when everyone knew it was a deficit. All the employees at the PUC and ERCOT should be terminated because they are LAME and politically appointed . There are 750 MW/3,000 MWh installations available today, at Moss Landing, for peak reduction, but Texas has none. Austin politicians appoint LAME personnel to ERCOT and cannot even run the regulated AUSTIN grid, much less the deregulated Texas grid. Deregulation of the Texas grid is a failure and didn't lower electric prices or galvanized the grid as promised. Any LAME person can sit in front of the GRID control center and say "Look we need more power generators". The problem is they do NOTHING but talk, even with $60 million in federal funding in their pockets. LAME

They ask us to conserve. But you know they run their AC at 65 and leave the lights on.. build more power plants or fight the EPA. Do your job ERCOT

Imagine being and electric company for one of the hottest states and not being able to keep up with the heat, yall ask to save power , run my bill and still shut down. Maybe texas dosent needs it's own grid because we can't even keep cool.
