It is a great second location for a supercharger that is much closer than the one all the way down south. The charging price is a flat $0.38/kWh, which is fantastic. Also, I love how there's a Dunkin, Stop & Shop, and other places to check out if you want to stretch your legs while you charge.
Happy to see a new location closer to home. Great job Tesla for adding another Supercharger in Staten Island. We still need at least two more to satisfy demand for the island but hopefully we will get there sooner than later. Word of advise. There needs to be trash bins added. This goes for all Tesla superchargers. Lots of travelers leaving garbage everywhere.
Great location in/out of nyc. A bit off highway. No easy peepee but some stores around so maybe if you beg. But it’s much and they don’t generally like you using their bathrooms.
Finally opened after more than 2 years of the chargers being installed. Was empty when I got there but I expect this to be a pretty busy location once the Ubers get a hold of it.
The app shows temporary closure (average 2 weeks). It takes up to 2 days or more to reopen this supercharging station.
