Tesla Supercharger

8.6

Located near Kelley Square, the Worcester Supercharger provides a convenient fast-charging solution for electric vehicles. Situated on a spacious lot adjacent to a new Citgo station, the site offers amenities like coffee, food, and restroom facilities, simplifying the charging experience. The well-considered layout ensures ample space between charging stalls and fuel pumps.

Well lit new V3 superchargers. Couple minutes drive to the baseball stadium and walmart in the area. In the parking lot of a new Citgo Gas station. Coffee, food, Bathrooms!

Charging speed was very slow… 25-35kw. Could be because it’s a new station and I’m using an NACS adapter (I do not have a Tesla). Location is good though, right near a gas station with food options and a bathroom!

The charger is very slow, 44KW, and from 40% to 80%, 45 minutes? Long time, even the chargers apparently look new.

This Supercharger location is well located near Kelley Square and Route 146 on a spacious lot, with a very nice newly constructed Citgo station/convenience store/coffee shop with drive through. The layout of chargers was well thought out and they are positioned plenty far away enough from the gas pumps. I have used it twice so far, and was able to charge with no wait both times. However, the 8 chargers did reach full capacity during my second visit while I was charging, with a couple people having to wait for about 5-10 minutes. So my one criticism would be that they could probably use up to 12 chargers during busy times. Maybe that could be addressed in a future expansion. In the meantime, the Auburn Mall location (16 stalls) is a good fallback option if this one reaches capacity. Finally, to follow up on the first reviewer's comment, I believe these are technically "V4" Chargers. I believe the main differences between V4 and V3 is that V4 have longer cables (to better reach non-Tesla EV charging ports, which vary in location); and the ability to charge Cybertrucks at a max speed of 325kw. The longer cables mean that other EVs will hopefully not need to take up multiple spots to get the cable to reach their port.

Charged at 190kW rate late at night w only 3 cars charging.

2 stations already broken, awkward cable vs parking setup and although the ice storm was bad, they plowed it up against the chargers so access was miserable. Also charging from 5% preconditioned and getting 169kw peak… not impressed.
