EVgo Charging Station

★☆☆☆☆ - EVgo Is a Pathetic, Money-Grabbing Disgrace EVgo is hands down the worst charging network I’ve ever dealt with. I attempted to use one of their stations and not only did my car NOT charge at all, but they had the audacity to charge me TWO separate $55 deposits — that’s $110 down the drain for absolutely NOTHING. And it gets worse — when I called their so-called "customer service," I was met with a complete lack of accountability. The rep was useless, dismissive, and couldn’t have cared less. No help, no resolution, no refund. Just scripted nonsense and a refusal to take responsibility. This isn’t just bad service — this is theft. EVgo stole my money, wasted my time, and left me stranded with no charge and no support. I’ve never felt so ripped off by a company in my life. Avoid EVgo like the plague. Their systems don’t work, their support is worthless, and their business practices are shady as hell. This company should be ashamed — if there was an option for zero stars or filing a formal complaint on the spot, I’d do it in a heartbeat. Don’t trust them. Don’t use them. Don’t give them!

Convenient location. Very busy charging station. Many times there are several cars waiting. Chargers are fast and in good condition. Shopping is right there. There are not restrooms or other conviences, but close by.

During a recent 850 road trip, this was the worst experience I had charging my car. At first, the kiosk never got past the "processing payment" screen, then no one would answer the service phone number listed on the kiosk, and finally once it did correctly start a charging session, it cut off unexpectedly at 50% before I had enough power to make it to my final destination. To make matters better, EVgo charged my credit card $55 for no service received in addition to the $8 ($3 of which was a session fee) of charging I was able to do.

Had a bit of hard time finding this station. If you find the Electrify America stations, the EVgo is only about 100 yards away directly across the driveway and behind the GAP store.

I had to use the non-fast charger which does not have a credit card reader. The app did not let me register. Neither did the website. DON'T USE EVGO.

All of the chargers except the CCS was out of order. If you want CCS then the electrify america charger 50 ft away is faster and doesn’t require an annoying app to use

Easy access, no waiting! Only one other electric vehicle was charging so it was very easy to connect. Parking is not covered but easily accessed, and there is only the one charging location for the Outlets Shopping center.
