NEVER COMING BACK HERE. Zero stars if I could. Came here night of 8/10 after midnight. 1. The entrance on Laurel street was unusable. Not sure if that was a late night thing (this may not be EVGO's fault) but form other reviews it may be permanent. 2. Chargers were hard to find. I drove around for 5 minutes before finding them. 3. All chargers were out of order. Could not charge. App owner responded to my initial review that "chargers work hard and 'sometimes' have to take them down for 'maintence' ". After reading other reviews, that seems to be all the time, or at least for several consecutive months. And they seem to post that same bullshit reply to several others who report the same problems I did, going back over a year. 4. My app was not working (I could never create an account for the whole week I had my rental), so the garage try to charge me $23 to park there for only 20 minutes. Attendants had to override so I could get out of there for no charge.

Come on EV Go! Company tagline: "OUT OF ORDER" The slowish, 50kw charging speeds I can deal with. This location is near a great neighborhood where I can buy a cup of coffee or grab a bite, and when I return I’m near my charging target. So far so good. But, having almost 40% of your charging ports out of service is completely unacceptable. Pull it together.

If you pass the Trax n get to Shell gas station YOU MISSED IT! We had to circle around twice to see that we passed it. Crazy if you don't have a passenger to help you find it. The drive way is unmarked -no sign- to let you know where to turn. It was 4pm crazy traffic by airport. We just went someplace else.

EVGO CHARGING STATION is well maintained, easy to find, with friendly, supportive help. The 10 charging stations are intermingled into three stories of parking. Most Level 2, high-speed chargers, are located on the garage's "Level One," the lowest level; J1772, CCS, and Tesla plugs are available. Enter using the EV lane and grab a ticket. You'll need a cell phone and credit card. (The cell phone is only necessary if there's a charging problem.) THERE IS NO PARKING CHARGE. When exiting, the ticket must be approved at the level three, reception desk. Then use the EV exit lane. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom on the entrance level three, the street level. Also see review under Aladdin Airport Parking.

San Diego, Aladdin Airport Parking, most of the charging stations are not working. The first RIZA station where I started charging my car turned off after half an hour, then I started charging my car again, the charge turned off after about ten minutes, after which I changed the charging station to HEIMDALL and recharged my car. Please set up charging stations in this place or just close it so as not to upset and anger customers.

Warning! No entrance on Laurel Street!! Some evil people use the location to get cheap or free parking under the guise of charging their vehicle. No one supervises the charging stations to prevent this. Five of the charging stations were broken. A woman and husband were calling customer service regarding a station they were at and customer service was telling them it's working - it wasn't. Then claimed it was user-error. The chargers are inside, on the lower levels of the parking structure. One unifying characteristic among EV charging station companies is that none of them have the capability to repair them nor want to. I've seen the same ones down for months. EVgo is constantly shutting down it's network nationwide to restart their system. They DON'T have technicians who regularly repair or inspect every location. I have driven to several of their stations, only to discover several don't work and IF there are any that work, they are occupied for long periods of time. Charging a vehicle takes very long periods of time and that is why gasoline is always going to be the preferred choice of energy. Also, when charging stations are broken, most of the time they stay that way for 3 to 5 months. Fenton Pkay and this location are constantly broken down.

I found this place to charge our rental EV. It is in a parking garage. Google maps took us to an entrance that is closed. We found our way around to the east side and entered, took a spitter ticket and then saw little signs for EVGo and wound around down two floors to the chargers. It turns out you have to find the special EVGo entrance and get a special spitter ticket or they will want $23 for you to leave the parking garage. Who knew? Charging was fine, but there you are stuck in the bowels of a garage staring at a concrete wall. The rental car agencies are all complaining that they can’t rent EV’s. Well, build chargers right next to that big airport car rental center, charge reasonable rates and they could solve the problem. It would be .001 the cost of building the facility.
