Evolve NY Charging Station

I don’t remember the last time I saw all 10 chargers operational. The worst part, app shows you that 2-3 chargers are available, but when you get there, they are not working and there is a long line waiting for the ones that do

I use the Electrify America charging station at JFK Airport when traveling to Brooklyn and Queens to visit friends, but it’s one of the most stressful charging experiences I've encountered. The station is in a parking lot often filled with people waiting to pick up arriving passengers, which adds to the congestion. It’s also co-located with an Evolve charging area used by TLC drivers, many of whom ignore basic queueing and try to cut the line. The lack of order makes the experience nerve-racking. This location would really benefit from better signage, traffic flow management, or enforcement to maintain fairness and safety.

Long line! Definitely give yourself wait time far beyond charge time. Lots of stations not working :/ got here at the "less busy" time… it’s always busy. Welcome to NYC.

If u come to charge here. Minimum you need to spend one hour. Bug taxi line for charging. Better charge somewhere else. This always busy too many cars come to charge here. Most people are taxi driver. Rental car people also come here to charge. No tesla charger in the lot. Good thing is bathroom available near this place.

this charging station is a bit hard to gewt to. its in jfk so take traffic in to considerartion when planning your visit. also this place DOES NOT LET YOU CHARGE OVER 80%. like why? whats the big deal to let me fully charge my car? also the carging is not the fastest. my car charged at 90kwh tops. price is eehhhhh. but atleast these not too long of a line each time you go there.

Pretty good. It says you can only charge to 80% ("strictly enforced"). Available spots Saturday 8:30pm on a light travel date. Easy with the Electrify America app but has guest mode as well. DC charger says "up to 150 kw" (CHAdeMO up to 100kw) but I’m charging between 62-78 now. Some apps and maps show this as Evolve NY which is confusing.
