Extra Space Storage

Over the past year, I have used two different storage companies, and this is the third. It has the best customer service so far. The location is convenient, tucked away, with easy access to the freeway. The inside was clean, and they have tons of carts—which is always a plus. It didn't seem to be so busy, which is also great. Overall, so far so good.

Met Michelle for the first time today and she was great! Very friendly, helpful, and made the whole process easy. Really appreciate her customer service.

The best rates near my place are offered here. The front office staff is exceptional, especially the cool office manager who I had the pleasure of dealing with. When I sat down and explained my situation, she immediately took action and accommodated my needs. I am very appreciative of her time and help here.

Myself and my family have rented a storage at this facility a few times. Always clean and there is always equipment available. The staff here are pretty amazing and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

Dear Storage Facility Management, I want to begin by saying that I’ve always had a positive experience at your storage facility. I would confidently give it a five-star rating. The area is well-kept, secure, and overall very community-oriented. I’ve interacted with several tenants who have been kind and helpful—many of us even assist each other when needed, and I appreciate that kind of atmosphere. There is also one particular staff member who has always taken great care of me, and I’m sincerely grateful for her kindness and professionalism. However, I’m writing today because I’ve had two separate, uncomfortable encounters with another employee that have left me feeling disrespected and possibly profiled, which have left me feeling unfairly treated and possibly discriminated against. On two separate occasions, this employee has made assumptions about my behavior that I believe are inappropriate and biased: 1. First Incident: During my initial visit, I was parked in the lot waiting for my husband to arrive so we could access our storage unit together. While waiting, the employee approached my vehicle and accused me of "sleeping" in the car and stated that I could not remain on the premises if I was not actively unloading. I clarified that I was waiting for assistance and that we would be accessing the unit. Notably, another individual—a Spanish woman smoke cigarette in her vehicle with windows down and her feet’s out the window in the driver seat- was parked nearby for an extended period she was there before I entered the facility and was not approached or questioned, which raised concerns for me about inconsistency and possible bias in enforcement of rules. 2. Second Incident: Most recently, I was actively inside my unit looking for specific items, when the same employee accused me of "living" in the storage unit. This accusation is completely false. I have a home and travel frequently because of his job so we always on the go so we do a lot of moving around. In both situations, I felt unfairly targeted and judged without cause. These experiences have left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome, and I now question whether I am being profiled based on race or other personal characteristics. This is deeply concerning and unacceptable. What troubles me the most is the tone and delivery used in both interactions. I strongly believe situations like this can be handled more respectfully and professionally. The way this person spoke to me felt unnecessarily harsh and accusatory, especially when I’ve never caused problems or violated the rules. I’m not someone who complains lightly, but I felt compelled to speak up because this repeated behavior from the same employee has made me feel uncomfortable and unfairly targeted. I ask that you please look into this matter, and take steps to ensure that all customers are treated with equal respect and dignity—regardless of who they are. I would appreciate the facility ensures all customers are treated with fairness, respect, and without bias. I’m asking for appropriate steps to be taken to prevent this type of experience from happening again—to myself or OTHERS. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and secure — but what really stood out was the amazing staff. They were incredibly helpful and friendly from the moment I walked in. I needed help combining storage units, and they made the whole process quick and easy — everything was handled in just a few minutes. It’s rare to find people who are not only efficient but genuinely kind and pleasant to work with. Big thanks to the team here — you made a potentially stressful task feel effortless.
