Freedom Forever

I purchased my home 2020 and later that that year i singed up to get solar with freedom/sunrun. My roof was installed 2018 so therefore i was not expecting any roof issues. Later that year my solar panels were installed, I immediately started seeing the savings in my FPL however it only lasted 4 months now my light bill is as high as the sunrun monthly bill. No savings whatsoever, i asked multiple times for someone to come check it and it never happens. Fast forward few years later im noticing leaks in my home and various different places, and all of them are located under the install solar panels. They sent to rookies to do an inspection and they deemed it was not normal wear n tear n they didn’t even lift up the solar panels to see. When contacted a legit roofing company they told the issue is with the solar panel company that did a very bad install job. I would not recommend this company they do not take accountability for their mistakes.

This company is a scammer, they are charging me even though my panels are not working. I have been trying to contact this company for a year and they have not answered. I advise everyone who is thinking of doing a panel project with this company to look for one that is more serious and more responsible with its clients. It is frustrating that they want to charge you for something that does not even whistle or is working. BAD SERVICE. It is a very bad business. They charge me for the FPL AND THE PANELS.

This company and sunrun, is the worst companies ever out there for solar. We've had nothing but problems since day one the install was terrible. Now the unit, has gone bad or broken and they won't even come out. And fix it, I've reached out to both companies and they refused to do anything about it. And they call themselves customer service so sad. Don't even waste your money with this company.

The Animal house crew were courteous and kind. Very punctual. They also kept ne updated on everything they were doing. I highly recommend Animal house crew to anyone doing a Solar panel installation. Thank you Animal crew house for the great job you did.

Absolutely amazing experience! The team American Pie - Eric, Alex and Angel were on time, explained every single question I made eloquently, were organized and super clean and full of patience. I recommend working with this team 100%. Also my sales rep Daniel Ardila came to the installation in person which made the whole experience top notch

Their initial customer service, the sales tech, was great. But then had design issues. Followed by permit issues. I kept telling the permit-coordinator, the city name. Wrong, 3 times. Then came installation. That seemed to go well, but after they left - I had to walk my yard to find things they left -- wires, a pipe, metal casings, cigarette butts, candy wrappers. Really gross. Had inspection last week, but the Freedom Forever guy was new, and couldn't properly explain to the inspector about the install -- so it had to be rescheduled. Finally got that done, with 2 guys up on the roof clomping about. Sent email and left message with their corporate office, and got no response. Spoke with a rep today, and he was so laissez-faire about it all. I would not recommend this company. Let's hope, I don't have any issues with water coming thru their roof penetration.

"I had a deeply disappointing experience with Freedom Forever. They conducted a home survey, inspected our roof, and approved it for solar installation. However, after the panels were installed, our roof began leaking the first time it rained. Despite having a roof penetration warranty, Freedom Forever claimed the leaks were not their responsibility. We had to hire a roofer at our own expense, who informed us that the leaks were due to someone stepping on the roof and damaging the already rotten wood, which should have disqualified it for solar installation. To make matters worse, the sales representative falsely assured us that if we needed to replace our roof, they would remove and reinstall the system at no cost. This turned out to be untrue, with costs of thousands of dollars. Also my insurance company just asked me to replace my roof or they will cancel my insurance. I been back and forth with freedom to get them to do the right thing but I haven't been able to get any help. Be very careful doing business with this company! Freedom Forever seems more interested in getting paid than in ensuring customer satisfaction and safety."
