We replaced both of our AC & heating units (upstairs and downstairs, inside and outside) and added whole house filters to both units in July 2020. I got three estimates from local contractors and found that Freedom had not only the best price but also the best maintenance plan. They've been servicing our units twice yearly since then. There were a few minor glitches along the way, but everything has been taken care of to our satisfaction with no problem. Their most recent visit was in June 2025. Their tech, Caleb, found a few issues, but cleaned and serviced all the units as part of Freedom's maintenance plan and we're ready for the summer! We would highly recommend both Freedom Heating and Cooling and their tech Caleb.

Jesse Deloney came to my home today because my heat was not working. He was professional, knowledgeable of an older furnace and went right to work. I highly recommend Freedom Heating & Cooling and Jesse.

Luke Vaughters came out to my house to replace a hot water heater. He was the most professional, kind and thorough service technician that I have ever worked with. I am a real estate agent so I have worked with several hundreds of Service techs over the years. He made sure that I understood everything completely without talking down to me. He was respectful of my property and of my family members.The city inspector happened to come out while he was on site and his interaction with the inspector was calm and professional. He went above and beyond, and if I need help in the future, I will request him. I hope this company knows what an asset they have in this young man.

I have used this company for AC installation and repair for a few times and was satisfied with their service and fees. Last week, I scheduled a repair for AC heating, the technician quoted me $99 service charge, and $482.90 to replace a cracked igniter. The igniter usually cost $20-$30, and the time to replace should be less than 30 mins. When I questioned about the charge, the technician said the company set the price for each repair. With the cold front coming in a few days, I let them finished the job. But this is the last time I use their services.

Freedom Heating and cooling installed new heat pumps and duct work in my home a few years back after I had a house fire. Brand new units with a 10 year warranty for parts and labor. Also with a promise to reduce my electric bill by 15%. Since that time, there has been nothing by problems with my units and my power bill has done nothing but go sky high. Come to find out this year, Freedom admitted to putting the wrong units in my home and the duct work was ran incorrectly. Since the first part of 2025, promises have been by multiple people including the owner Mark to remove and install the correct units and run new duct work. To date as of October 30th, nothing has been done. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Especially if they are installing new units and running new duct work. They don't show up for scheduled appointments or they show up hours after then the time they are scheduled. They don't call to tell you they are late or not showing up. Customer Service is the terrible. The owner nor his team could care less about my issue because unless I follow up with them, there is no contact made. I normally do not post reviews since I realize everyone makes mistakes. However, this is no longer a mistake. They are aware and are doing nothing to rectify the issues. Basically stole from me and are not willing to correct that mistake.

Jessie Deloney at Freedom was earlier than our appointment, he quickly assesses the problem and gave us options on parts. He convinced us to add the extra maintenence contract and we look forward to their yearly service on our hvac unit. I was going to get a cover from Amazon, but he suggested we not do that because it may restrict airflow that could cause problems. His knowledge and experience was well deserving of a 5-star rating.
