Friendly Managed Services

As a business owner and a person very interested and knowledgeable in computers I would recommend Friendly Computers to anyone. I have been through many different providers through the years and once found Friendly Managed Services. I haven’t went anywhere else for my needs. As a smaller office it is hard to find someone as knowledgeable to handle the large and small projects to keep everything running smoothly and there service is top notched. No need to call a geek when you can call a friend! I would highly recommend FMS for any of your service or new computer needs.

Friendly computers "don't care" when you have issues with them. I wanted my computer ungraded. During the quoting process they were friendly and knowledgeable. I decided on a new motherboard, 16 gb DDR4 3200 Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM, a Samsung 512 nvme ssd drive, a new i7 7700 CPU and a new water cooler. Total quote price, $1,423.09. During our discussion I told them my computer was 5 years old and needed cleaning as well. They said there would be no cost since they were replacing so many of the computers components. They special ordered the parts, I waited for the parts to come in, and then made the appointment to have the work done. After doping off my computer, they called me to tell me they saved me $30 by getting the wrong ram. I ordered 3200, but they only had 3000 RAM. I know it's not a huge difference but I'm paying a lot of money, and have put a lot of thought and research into this build. I was not happy! Then I get a call saying that my case was dirty and had "smoke damage" (I smoke cigarettes) so if I wanted the computer done that day, I would need to buy a new case, or I could pay another $100 to have it cleaned and wait additional day/days (?) for the work to be done. Even though they said they would clean my 5 year old computer at no charge as part of the new build. I asked why they didn't mention this at the quote process, they said because they don't ask people if they smoke. So if it is not important enough to ask, then why would it be important enough to charge me $100 more? It felt like they were trying to up sell me, after the fact that they didn't have the correct ram that I ordered. When I informed the manager that I would cancel the work order if I was charged for cleaning, he said I could come pick it up. In the end, I told them I was un-happy with the way it was handled. I told them I would be giving them a negative review. The workers response of "do what ever you want I don't care" was not all that friendly.

Friendly Computers is amazing! I purchased a laptop from them and it is such a good feeling to know that they are there to answer any questions and help you with any problems that you may encounter. Dave is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and the customer service is excellent! They go out of their way to help you in a timely manner, and with fair pricing. You can tell they truly value their customers and you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. I can't say enough good things! Give them a try, you won't regret it!!

Great company to have Manage all your IT needs. I recently had my primary office computer go down. Hard drive was going bad and I wouldn't have been able to stay open as our POS system ran from this computer. I reached out to Eric at Friendly and he had me bring the machine in and within 3-4 hrs we were back up and running! New SSD installed and my business was back in business!
