We went with GC because they offered the best deal with the latest battery at an upfront price and never tried to increase it later by claiming the original price was incorrect, unlike other solar companies. They communicated well regarding the installation schedule, city permit and inspection process, and SCE approval. Great job, GC!

After an exhaustive search through Energysage and other reviews I decided to use GC Electric Solar. From the beginning of the engineering phase all the way through the completion both Seph and Francis kept me up to date and met all their stated goals. They had one of the most competitive prices and the material they used was top quality. You could easily see they have been in the business a long time and are very experienced. Talking to their installation crew also showed loyalty to the owners of the company which reflects very positively on the company. The majority of their installation crew had been working for them for many years and they were not sub-contractors.

After extensive research, phone calls, and reading I found the best solar retailer and installer in California. G C Electric out of San Diego. Top of the line panasonic panels, with the best warranty on the market, two tesla powerwall 3, which other companies said were back ordered, and integration of my existing system were installed. The work was fantastic, installation was amazing, and the price was 15k less than all others, G C has no middle man costs which allows them to truly provide great quality and a great price. They worked with me and made sure to answer all my questions throughout the entire process. There were some small patches needed to my stucco after completion, but that was an easy DIY fix after a trip to lowes. Today I am completely off grid, and my system is producing an average of 74kwh of energy a day, and running off the powerwall 3's at night. G C Electric was one of the best choices I have made. Do yourself a favor, save time and money, and give them a call.

Excellent job from beginning to end. They had the best price and they did an great job. Even though I didn't make it easy for them by throwing them a few screw balls, they quickly pivoted and completed the installation. I'm lucky for choosing GC Electric.

First of all, I compared a dozen companies through energysage, and GC was the most competitive on price! After speaking on the phone, I was impressed with the professionalism and competency of the company. I agreed to their proposal, and things happened right on schedule. The installers were polite, efficient, quick, and didn't leave any mess. I highly recommend GC Electric Solar.

Great company to deal with. They installed solar and a backup battery. Always on time, great follow through, very competitive on price. System works great. I haven't paid anything for electricity this year so far.

I helped my elderly father work with GC Electric to install solar at his house. We got several quotes from EnergySage and GCE was quite reasonable (though not the cheapest), they had very good ratings, and communication was good so went with them. All installers were backlogged but Sepehr at GCE said they could probably get the system approved before the NEM 2.0 April 2023 deadline though actual installation would be way out in 2024. The install was a few weeks ago and got PTO last week. We got in NEM 2.0, the work went smoothly and the install was clean. The system is working well, the 12 Panasonic panels and Enphase IQ8+'s are hitting max ratings on sunny days (in March!), and Enphase's per panel/inverter monitoring is great. Everything went as planned and we're very happy with the system. Thanks Sepehr and Francis and GC Electric folks!
