BEWARE!! There's this GameStop employee named Jose (ID 234614, tall, clean-cut hair, very short beard, stocky, middle aged man with salt-pepper hair) who kept trying to add warranty to my purchase for "free". I kept saying no at least four times but Jose insisted after every denial to add it because it was "free". He didn't explain why it would be "free" and even started becoming frustrated. I've never heard of free warranty at GameStop. To my knowledge, employees can redeem your points for a voucher ($1, $5, etc.) which they can then use towards the warranty. It leads me to believe he wanted to meet his quota at my expense and without telling me the process. I understand it's part of the job, but this is not the way to do it. Aside from that, every time I've interacted with him, he's never friendly or welcoming which makes me not even go there anymore. Other employees typically welcome and thank but this guy rarely does. Just wanted to give a heads up to other customers to be careful and make sure employees don't try to add stuff without your knowledge. All other employees have been great, but this experience soured GameStop for me.
I like coming to a store where they make you feel wanted and give that such energy of excitement of what you wnat when it’s coming in to GAMESTOP. So thank you to SOCATRES for being professional and as well very welcoming
Compre una xbox series s y al principio me funciono perfectamente segun era "nueva" pero al año me empezo a dar detalles y problemas.
I went in today to buy an extra remote for my PS4 and a joy-con for my switch and let me tell you that Vanessa, who was the only employee on the sales floor at the time, did amazing! She not only answered every question every guest had with genuine sincerity, she took care of everyone at a nice, fast pace. She didn’t hold back on offering every guest the upgrade to the pro. She offered many alternatives to a male guest, who was searching for something for his sons switch, so that even HE can play with his son. Really! Same friendliness and amazing vibe with every guest she had in store. The only disappointing part was that she was alone in a peak hour. I believe that she could’ve used an extra set of hands so she didn’t look overwhelmed as she took care of that male guest and myself at the same time; but that may not necessarily be her fault so I’m not taking off any stars. Keep it up Vanessa!
So they kept me standing there for up to half a hour or more with my warranty it may have been a Fortnite edition but still it's just a regular Xbox series s with Dark Skully so I couldn't get a new one with Membership bundle they have been selling or the other Fortnite bundle Gilded Hunter and they had nothing of originals for trade I would rather have a little bug I know than a whole new used console that may be worse if I got a warranty on something new means I want to get something new in return what is the point of having a warranty for 2 years and get nothing good in return sorry but that doesn't feel right in my book
There are only two people working there. The guy who helped us was nice and explained what he was offering us vs the girl she was on her phone the entire time we were there. Not once did she ask if we needed help finding something. The store needs some light cleaning and organization.
I’ve never had issues with this store, one thing I can complain about is: sometimes the store has a weird veterinarian smell, like they use a bad product to clean the store, the employees are nice despite having one of the worst jobs in the U.S, I admire your effort, all of you should get a fair salary! I hope to see you guys when I pick up my preordered games
