Good sales experience with Mason. He had to work a little harder to move some things around & pull down a new Toro Titan from an upper rack that I know just came in. Low key sales which I appreciate. I’d done my research on the Titan and the My Ride system ( it’s a high profile red & black beauty-much more aggressive than Time Cutter-close to Contractor grade) ) and with the limited time I have had with it on the bumpier sections of the acreage I’d say it’s a game changer. Glides nicely through every bump. The Kohler 26 hp is a beast and takes hills straight up with no power lag. ( Negs: watch corners with a super aggressive tire. And not a great placement for the fuel gauge ) A Kawi would have been nice but I’ve had Kohler before and if you do your regular maintenance you should have a long life with Kohler Pro series. I’ll try and update in Spring.
I sent a service request through their website and had a response same day. Had my snowblower picked up the next morning and returned fixed the following day. Pricing was more than reasonable and all interactions were great! Would definitely recommend and I will surely use them again in the future.
Poor experience with P &P Small Engine – canceled order and poor communication I spent hours searching for the parts I needed and chose P &P Small Engine because they appeared to have them in stock. I placed an online order over the weekend and called on Monday to confirm the parts would fit my equipment and to verify the order details. The representative promised to call back with confirmation that everything was correct. Around 9:30 AM, I expected a follow-up call. By 2:00 PM that same day, my transaction was canceled and my money refunded without any courtesy call or explanation beyond this email: "Upon checking into this part it appears that this item is not going to be available with the manufacturer for some time. I am not sure when they will be getting these back into stock. I did go ahead and cancel the order as we do not know when or if they will be getting more of these into stock." It would have been helpful to at least receive a call explaining the situation. This experience left me with wasted time and a refund that came without any proactive communication or options. Why was the item shown as available online if it isn’t actually in stock? The lack of transparency and follow-through is concerning. Recommendation: If you need parts online, consider local dealers or other vendors that provide clearer stock status and proactive updates. If P &P Small Engine improves stock visibility, confirms orders promptly, and communicates clearly, they could avoid losing business in the future. Overall, this experience caused me to lose time and money, and I’m unlikely to use or recommend this vendor unless they implement a more reliable stock system and better customer communication.
Let me start by saying that I had an issue with Cub Cadets website ordering things. I ended up having to contact a local dealer and I am so glad that I did. I ordered a cub cadet zero turn and there was 0 issues. I did have to pay for delivery, but I live 60 miles away and was fully expecting that. What I was not expecting was the above and beyond service that I received. Cub cadet is notorious for selling optional upgrades to their machines. Which I anticipated. What I did not expect was that when I ordered them, This company installed them for me professionally and was 100% ready when it arrived. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I may even have to buy a trailer so I can buy from them more often!
Great people, and fast service. We had our toro mower repaired in 24 hours. A bit pricey for labor at $120 per hour but they did a good job and offered us other services like a tune up and new blades.
We purchased our Hustler mower from P&P several years ago. They've always been good about service. Most recently our mower needed some extra work and once again they were professional, prompt, and reasonably priced. And we love that it's a locally owned business! Thanks P&P Small Engines!
I’ve always came to p&p for chain saws. Weed eaters and supplies. I love Stihl equipment. This is where I go. Well worth the trip.
