Apparently when you order a $550 toolbox it’s acceptable to deliver it in this condition and then offer you $25.00 gift card or 10% back. Every single side is damage and the emblem is ripped off. I don’t even know how you decide to deliver something in this condition. Insane. Now I’m waiting on them to exchange it 4 days from now when I needed it today. I asked for $100.00back and we would call it good and they didn’t even consider it. Absolutely no sense of urgency or any amount of empathy to correct the situation.
I went in to buy a new washing machine. The associate that came after I pushed the help button said he would be right back. 20 minutes later he was assisting another customer. Then he proceeded to leave as his shift was over. The next associate that showed up said he would grab the appliance as well and meet me up front. 40 minutes later he arrived saying it was hard to locate. I won’t be going back.
Victoria in plumbing is amazing - she took a lot of time with us picking out items for a basement renovation. The rest of our experience was not great. They say you'll get a 4 hour window to expect delivery, which we never recieved. Then, 15 minutes prior to delivery, we got a call. Only half of the items arrived. Then, we were told the rest of the delivery would arrive by 1pm the same day. I had to take the whole day off from work, but at least it would all arrive on the same day. By 2:30pm, and MULTIPLE calls to customer service with very little help, we find out the rest of the shipment will come tomorrow. And the attitude at customer service is "oh well, what can you do?" Does customer service have a bunch of days they can just take off from work waiting on a delivery that never comes? I do not!! I realize customer service barely exists in 2025, but value me as a customer a little bit more than that after I spent thousands of dollars at your store! All I request is any kind of communication telling me when to expect delivery and that the information be accurate. That doesn't seem like a lot to ask.
I had a fantastic experience at Lowe’s today, thanks to an exceptional team member named Bret. I was shopping for several items -- a ceiling fan for our kitchen, dimmable switches, a faucet, and a few other products -- and Bret went above and beyond to assist me. He patiently answered all my questions, walked me through the available options, and thoughtfully explained the pros and cons of each one. What stood out most was his depth of knowledge, not just about the store, but about the features and functions of the merchandise itself. Bret’s thoroughness, professionalism, and genuinely pleasant demeanor made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s not often you encounter someone who combines expertise with such welcoming and attentive service. Kudos to Bret and to Lowe’s for having such a stellar employee. I left the store feeling confident in my purchases and very appreciative of the help I received.
We had an emergency situation where we had only a few days to put flooring in. We drove out there after we found flooring that had over double what we needed available in store, according to their website. When we got there the label said they had enough but when we tracked down an associate (two men came to help us), they said they didn’t have enough but we could go to Omaha or order it online. Then they walked away while we were discussing our options. We had to search the store to find someone to help us after that. The next associate was an older man that stood so close to me I could feel his breath on my neck. He couldn’t figure out how to help us and sent us to a different department, where we found the two guys that we interacted with first. We told them we were on a really short time crunch so we wanted help ordering the floors because we can’t afford to mess this order up. We told them we wanted to have it delivered to the store and the associates said that would be fine. They were having a lot of tech issues so it took a while to load. While we were waiting they were talking amongst themselves, which is fine but the younger one was complaining about not getting sales. I had to hold back laughter because they ironically walked away when we were trying to buy something about 15 minutes earlier. When they finally got the process moving again, they told us we would have to pay an $80 delivery fee even though we wanted to pick it up from the store. Since we had to pay the fee regardless and we are in a time crunch we said that was fine because they told us it would be delivered the next day. I took off work to make sure I would be there to get the delivery and it never came and they never called. So I took today off work too. We hadn’t heard anything so we called and they told us it wasn’t going to be delivered for an entire week. Since that is much too late, we canceled the order but it takes 3-5 business days for the money to return to our bank account. We are working class people, we will not have enough money to put these floors in until that money is back in our account and will now have to move in to a home without functional floors. I wish they would have just told us they couldn’t help us or even suggested a similar product. We understood that with our urgency, we might have to settle for something else or go somewhere else and we were fine with that. Now we will not have the money to find someone who can actually help us until after we’re suppose to already be living there.
the customer service boys were just standing there like "doyyy???" when i had requested help looking for something. they were kinda giving useless lollll. i just walked away cus it was so awkward. but then this super kind lady with glasses saw and helped me out instead so shouts out to her!!! gonna order online from here on out xoxo
I just wanted to say that Lydia and Dottie have been so so helpful over many years and deserve many more positive ratings than this single one. So for whoever reads these, I want you to know that every time I have been into your South Lincoln store and have had the opportunity to work with either of these ladies, it has always been a treat. They are extremely helpful, friendly, and I hope that you recognize how valuable they are.
