I recently had Gabriel install a Generac 14kW generator at my home, replacing the existing unit. I had a few constraints with the existing wiring, and he was able to accommodate all of them without any issues. His work was exceptionally clean and neat, and the entire installation was completed with great professionalism. Before hiring Gabriel, I spoke with three other electrical contractors, and not only was his price one of the most reasonable, but he also delivered exactly what I needed. At the end of the job, everything was perfectly done, tidy, and ready to go. I highly recommend Gabriel for anyone considering generator installation or electrical work—great workmanship, fair pricing, and true professionalism.

Gabriel was very responsive. He conducted an assessment of all my electrical issues and made recommendations. He provided me with a reasonable quote. Once his worker was on the job site, he determined one of the electrical issue was not as severe as originally thought. The invoice reflected the adjustment. The Point Break Electric was a little delayed but he kept us updated on when he would arrive. Upon his arrival he checked our malfunctioning outlet and immediately discovered the problem and fixed it. We were expecting the worse since an electrician from another company said the fix would be about $1000! However our problem was not complicated and Point Break Electric charged us much less and reasonable price. I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Gabriel and Eddy at Point Break Electric. We have a home built in 1978 that had its original FPE Stab-Lok Main and Sub panel. These panels are a known fire hazard and were noted on the inspectors report when we bought the house. Replacing these things is something that has been on our to-do list since we bought this home but have dreaded the complexity and cost of the project. I called around Salinas to discuss the project with a few electricians and Gabriel was the only one to provide me with a quick and direct quote. He offered to come out and look at the project and then talked me through the steps that would be necessary if we chose to work with him. In addition to the electrical work he handled the submission of the permits as well as the conversation around scheduling power shut-offs with PG&E. Throughout the entire project Gabriel and Eddy were professional and maintained a clean work environment. They even neatly folded my tarps that were covering the ground where they were working. If I find that I am in need of an electrician again I have no doubt that Point Break Electric will be the first people I call. I know with them that I will be getting a fair quote and quality workmanship.
