Boulevard Generator - Starter, Alternator, and Electrical Rebuilding

My experience with Joe, the owner of Boulevard Generator spanned the course of 10 months when I initially took my car in for what was believed to be a bad alternator. It was bad, however joe found other problems as well including, bad main engine ground wire and a failing battery. I had several issues with the new alternator over the next several months, mainly caused by an oil leak we suspect leaking directly into the alternator. Joe stood by his work and fixed it. Then the battery light came back on a couple days later and was intermittent , so I took it back again and he replaced some parts. a couple days later, same issue. The last time I took it back he put a different alternator in and so far it's been great. There was something off with the first one, plus I fixed the oil leaks and now everything is running fine. The biggest thing is Joe's integrity, he really does stand behind his work and never charged me a dime for all the extra work, even about 8 or 9 months later when I took it back. I highly recommend this shop, he knows what he's doing, skilled, quick, explains things and shows you in detail. very thorough. You don't come across many businesses with such integrity these days, and because of this and him getting my car repaired I give Joe and Boulevard Generator my endorsement and will be a returning customer. Went thru 3 new batteries in 2024. Two repair shops could not find any problem. Joe Coleman correctly diagnosed my issue and rebuilt my alternator. Now my car runs without any issues. Highly recommend.

You know I took this generator to a place south of boulevard generator. They had it for two and half weeks. I called and they said they THOUGHT it had a bad armature. They stated they did not want to deal with it. I looked at it and found a broken brush spring. Took it to Joe and he had it repaired in less than an hour. He bench tested also. I will not forget the service that he provided. Thank you boulevard.

I had my starter replaced here. Joe sent me pictures of the work as it was being done and kept in contact with me for the 1 day that it took him do the work. My car starts fast and strong now. 5 stars for Joes business and work!

I can't say enough good about Joe and his shop! I wish we had more businesses like this who know their craft, stand behind their product, and save materials, time and energy by repairing a product rather than just tossing it out and wastefully selling you a whole new unit when just a small part will fix the problem. I've known Joe since high school and he is a great guy. He loves what he does and is very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the process of rebuilding my alternator and showing me why his rebuild would be better than the cheap rebuild from auto parts stores.
