This company is the WRONG choice if you want your home project to be correctly, professionally and on time! The biggest problem with this company is their contractor ELI, he is the most DECEIVING, UNTRUSTWORTHY and UNPROFESSIONAL person that I have ever worked with. He will NEVER answer your calls, he will never return your calls when he says he will. Several of the people that he hired to do the painting of our house and completely remodel our kitchen. Showed up at our house refusing to complete the job that they started, due to ELI continuously NOT paying his employees and refusing to communicate with the people that he hired and ignoring their requests for payment. If Legacy Electric shows up at your door, do yourself a favor. Go with anybody else, you will definitely be more satisfied. Legacy Electric is definitely a company that cares NOTHING about their customers being satisfied. It has been over a month since Eli convinced me to finalize the loan and then he DISAPPEARED. He was supposed to refund me $1400.00 for a bed that one of his employees damaged, he NEVER did. He was was supposed send his electrician to install under cabinet lighting, he NEVER did. He never got the permits approved and completed by an inspector for all of the electrical work and the complete kitchen remodel, even though every one of the these items was on the contract. Because he never pays his employees, the NEW floor contractor refused to repair damaged that his electrician damaged installing our NEW appliances. He was TOO CHEAP to hire qualified people to install our appliances correctly. I spoke to Becky directly at legacy Electric over 2 weeks ago, and she assured me that she would contact a supervisor to get ahold of Eli. Nothing ever happened, I guess Becky doesn’t care about customer service either. I have never seen so much lack of quality work and incompetence on behalf of ELI. Frustrated Customer

Simply look at the last half dozen Yelp reviews (wish I had beforehand) and a word to the wise…stay far away from Eli Assouline (owner) and Legacy Electric.  My story mirrors several of the other reviews.  My oven was losing power shortly before the holidays.  Eli came out with an employee to check out the house electrical wiring.  The circuit breaker was fine but instead of checking behind the built in oven at that time, Eli was "all too quick" to draw up an invoice stating his people would check the oven outlet the following morning and, if faulty, would start the wiring project.  The red flag was demanding $1900 (a whopping 50% of the project cost) up front.  If the oven outlet was okay then he would reimburse me the down payment less a nominal service call charge. I had my reservations and called Eli within 30 minutes of his leaving the house to cancel but Eli, who fooled me masquerading as an honest professional, said let’s wait until tomorrow.   As it turns out, the oven outlet was fine so there was no need to do any wiring at all.  Okay time for a reimbursement. Some 35+ days later with countless follow-ups, and little or no response, still no reimbursement.  In the process, besides the terrible Yelp reviews, easy to see Eli’s lack of character and professionalism.  So many red flags like running his contractors license #1066013 on the Contractors State License Board web-site only to view license under suspension.  Do more research and you will see his other business failures / complaints and you can come to your own conclusions.  In the meantime, for now, I am filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Contractors State License Board as well as inform my credit card company of this fraud.

Legacy Electric did a fantastic job of installing my EV car charger and upgrading my electrical panel. They handled all the permits and made the whole process look easy. I would highly recommend using Legacy Electric!

Called Legacy to come out and troubleshoot my solar panels and set up. They were super friendly setting up the service call, and Eric the technician was super friendly and outstanding professionalism. Great service and I will be using them again!!!
