EPX Temecula is a company you will be glad you did business with. Seriously. You will not be disappointed. Purchased a Generac whole house generator through Costco. EPX delivered! From my initial appointment with LUIS who came out and explained the process going forward; to KENDRA in the office who ensured the project moved along and answered any and ALL question that came up; to OMAR our on site foreman who put all the pieces together, and provided information in a way I was able to understand. Omar’s crew, Keegan, Ian and Robert were respectful of our property and professional in their work. I really enjoyed working Omar. Personal, professional and knowledgeable.

I have a lot to say and all of it is good. I don't remember ever having had a better experience with a contractor, and I've dealt with a lot of them in the last few years, both at our home and another location we own. I was referred to EPX through the Costco website, which offers whole-home generators, including installation. This is a particularly good deal because, at the end of the process, you get a 10 percent Costco shop card for the total price of the installation, including tax. Pretty good bonus, but after comparing bids from other contractors, the EPX contract price turned out to be the lowest even without the Costco discount. After I requested a referral from Costco, I got a call from Louis (not using last names online to protect privacy) and he came to my house and scoped the project. He was polite and friendly, and answered all questions promptly and clearly. That was true throughout the project whenever I had a question and wasn't sure whom on the team I should ask. Either Louis had an answer or he promptly referred me to someone who did. In general, one of the best things I liked about EPX is that they always responded to queries in person, by phone or by email, and did so promptly and clearly. That was true of the entire team, both in the field and in the office. Louis came up with a very detailed plan--more detailed than I could understand. I had a bunch of technical questions and Louis answered them promptly and clearly. I then got a bid from another reputable contractor and decided to go with EPX, largely because they were cheaper--much cheaper when I factored in the Costco discount. They gave me a completion date about 4 months out, which included drawing plans, obtaining the necessary permits scheduling the crew and delivery of the generator, digging the necessary trenches, running the gas line and electrical cables, re-configuring the electrical breaker panel and hooking everything up. I thought this was a reasonable time given that I had bought a honking large generator (48kW) and wanted to locate it 100 feet from the gas meter and 50 feet from the breaker panel. I insisted on that remote location (see picture), which involved removing a lot of greenery and digging through ground that was full of roots and rocks. No problem; no extra charge. The projected completion date was July 23 but the generator was up and running more than a month early (mid-June), despite some delay in the project to accommodate my schedule. As I said, the generator is big (see pictures) and the access to the installation site was difficult (more pictures). EPX drew up plans and got a permit with no involvement on my part; the permit fee was included in the contract price. As expected, digging the trenches for the gas and electric pipes was difficult, but the EPX teams came out and worked diligently and cheerfully for about 2 weeks, spread out over about a month, to accommodate my schedule and coordinate delivery. Everything went smoothly and the teams in the field were invariably polite and cooperative. They had to shut down the power a couple of times and gave me lots of notice and coordinated with my schedule, as I work from home and have lots of zoom meetings and needed access to my computer for my work. I want to give a shout-out to the team: Field-team leaders Jorge and TJ, and team members Justin, Blake, Joseph, Alex, Matt and Travis. They were cheerful, hard-working and as unobtrusive as possible given the scope of the work. I also had nothing but pleasant and helpful interactions (by phone and email) with office-team members Kendra, Ashley, Kellsey, Mikaela and, of course, Louis. I hope I didn't forget anyone, but no matter when I called, whoever picked up the phone immediately recognized who I was and either had an answer or quickly put me in touch with someone who did. Generac includes a 5-year warranty but EPX extended it to 10 years. The other contractor I considered also offered a 10-year warranty but it was conditioned on getting a service contract with them, which cost about $1000 a year.

I just wanted to say thank you to the good folks at EPX Group. Not only did they do an incredibly professional job installing my Generac a few years ago but you have been so responsive and timely with the annual maintenance and responding to any questions I had. I felt moved to write this review today because my experience with my backup battery installer has been quite the opposite to my experience with you, so different that I feel compelled to acknowledge you guys for doing great work. I wish everyone was the same - you show up when you say you will and you do what you say you will and you leave clear follow up information for the customer. Because of that, I have never felt like I'm unsure about what was done, thank you for that and keep up the high quality work, it shows!

After contacting Generac by phone, a company called Energy Product Experts "EPX", in Georgetown, TX, called me and we set up an appointment. Robert Garcia came over and explained to me and my son-in-law every detail for a full installation of a new Generac standby electric power unit. In my case, I needed a new electrical panel which they installed by their owcompany,.I lready had a Propane tank large enough to support the new unit. Everything was done by EPX Group so no outside help was needed. The friendly woorkmen showed up to work every morning around 8AM and they worked almost non-stop all day long. I was really impressed as to how efficient they were and if I had a question about anything, they explained it. After the job was completed, they gave me all the warranties, instructions, and also how to start it myself, if I wanted to. I will recommend them to everyone, to do anything electric, including EV Charging stations and Solar Panels to name a few.All the workmen and office staff were all just the best. Thanks for everything. Buddy, Austin, TX

We called for a warranty concern for a project that was completed over 2 years ago. They came over to assess the situation and then sent an entire team over - at their cost - to fix the problem. No hassle. No attitude. Thanks guys!

Please avoid EPX as best you can. We have paid them over $100,000 over the years. Now, their technicians are super nice. But the office staff are not pleasant to deal with. In the past we have purchased large batteries for solar, inverters, and generators through them. But we will not be purchasing anything else or working with them again. They are refusing to come to our property to service the generator they installed. Really disheartening to see a company operating like this.

Everyone we worked with from EPX to install our Generac generator was great. Mando's team were very thorough with the installation, returning multiple times and going above and beyond to address concerns with the gas line. Phil and Thomas did outstanding work getting the generator up and running quickly. And Brittany was always incredibly responsive, letting us know exactly what was happening when. Given that we are out in Julian, it's not always easy to coordinate getting workers up here, and EPX was really a pleasure to work with.
