Tool Shed

A great little place filled with a variety of hand tools and corded and cordless power tools. Nice woodworking stationery machines when he can keep them on the floor. One of my friends has bought from the tool shed a beautiful jet mortiser with bits in perfect almost unused condition , also he had a gorgeous Delta shaper in mint condition for a very reasonable price. The inventory of stationary machines is up and down because of what is available for the store owner to purchase so you need to go in there regularly if you really want something specific or better yet tell the owner and he will probably give you a call if he gets in the machinery you're looking for. I've been buying woodworking tools and automotive tools for over 40 years and this is the last local place in Massachusetts I know of where you can find such deals and a variety of tools .

Excellent deals. So much better than paying full price. Visit regularly to catch items before they disappear. I am a longtime customer and have amassed a nice tool collection at a fraction of the price. Highly recommended.

A decent selection of used tools and equipment for reasonable prices. Small parking lot and odd hours, the weekly YouTube videos give you some idea of what's in the inventory, but that inventory changes a *lot* so dropping by is a good bet. I recommend this place to my friends, it's a gem for handymen and folks just starting out.

A great place to save a ton of $. I come here before any new hardware store if I need something. He doesn’t sell junk that doesn’t work. Also a great place to escape the significant other for a short sanity vacation. Come home covered in rust & grease with a heroic story about how you helped a stranded little old lady on the side of the road fix her car.

A great place to catch deals on used tools. The store is small but stocked with an always changing assortment of used tools. There is something here for everyone from carpenters to mechanics to the handy homeowner. The prices are very fair and the assortment includes anything from Snapon, Mac, SK, Craftsman and Dewalt but also lots of random and generic brand. All items are well marked and there is a large table of random awesomeness in the middle that reduces in price each week until everything left on the table is 25cents or less. They usually do a weekly video on YouTube, so that you can plan ahead.

I have been going to the tool shed for a little while and it’s just a great asset to Worcester county and beyond. I think the owners name is Jim and he always greats everyone with a good afternoon and a thank you on your way out. Homeowners should take note that to buy a used skill saw that you may use once or twice a year at the large box store may cost $130.or more at the tool shed it may cost you $30-40 ,these along with hammers ,drills ,wrenches,or any tool you may need around the house are there.To my surprise there are a lot of trades people that shop and always are friendly enough to offer advice on a project you may be working on.In closing please visit man ,woman old or young Jim and the tool shed will always be helpful and save you many dollars and it’s a fun place to shop for all Bill Hehir

As a first time home owner I am discovering I need tools I haven’t even heard of! Luckily this place is just around the corner and I’m almost always able to find it what I need here! Needed a basin wrench this week, called and he had one in stock that he held aside for me. He warned me ahead of time that it was "in the high rent district" for a grand total of $11.50. Walked out a happy customer. Only downside is the weird hours, but that doesn’t seem to hurt business at all, it’s always crowded.
