I received the most honest and fair estimate from Alex. My experience begins with battery backup for a sump pump that was old and I could not originally get a new charger for it. I called for an upgraded replacement and some other company quoted $1600 for new system. They mentioned, if I had a backup generator then I would not need the back up battery. So started looking at generators. After getting estimates from two generator installers, I called supercenter of Annapolis. Alex was friendly, honest, fair and transparent. She showed me everything that I would need and all the individual charges such as the panel, fuses, delay switches, etc. As far as the other estimates, I got "let me go back to my car and I will come back with a price". The best part is that Alex quoted me the cheapest price and tried to fill me in on a closer install date. Thanks Alex!

Extremely Unprofessional and Disrespectful Service Experience My recent experience with Generator Supercenter of Annapolis (12 Lincoln Court, Annapolis, MD) was extremely disappointing from start to finish. This company lacks professionalism, customer service, and basic respect for their clients’ time. After the company canceled my original appointment, we rescheduled for a 4–6 PM service window to accommodate my work schedule. I confirmed this clearly with Amanda, the office representative, emphasizing that I needed to be home during the visit. Despite this, the technician arrived at 11 AM—hours before the scheduled appointment—and proceeded to sit in my driveway for over an hour eating lunch, without ever attempting to call or contact me. I only learned this through my home surveillance camera. When I called the office to address the situation, Amanda was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I requested to speak with a manager or supervisor—someone they referred to as "Mike"—and was told he would return my call. It’s now been five days, and I have yet to hear from anyone. To make matters worse, the technician never even completed the service, leaving the transfer test unfinished. It’s unacceptable to charge for or mark a job as complete when the work itself wasn’t finished. The entire experience felt careless and disrespectful. This company clearly does not value communication, professionalism, or customer satisfaction. In my opinion, Generac should seriously reconsider listing them as an authorized service provider. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company read through other recent reviews before booking. Their disregard for appointments, failure to complete service, and unprofessional behavior ensure that I will never use or recommend Generator Supercenter of Annapolis again.

My husband and I had been considering getting a whole house generator for several years. After my elderly mother moved in with us, we finally decided to pull the trigger. We reached out to this company based on the referral of someone who I know and trust. One of the owners came out and did an overview and explained our options and provided estimates for each of them. She explained how the process would work. Their company handles every aspect of the process. They handle obtaining the permits, scheduling all inspections, and and they have all of the necessary trades people on their staff, with the exception of the company that had to drill for the propane lines. First, let me say how amazing the installation team was. Dave – Lead Electrician Dave was fantastic. He had to move some furniture to access the electric panel inside, but he did so would care and made sure to put everything back just as it was originally. He was very knowledgeable and personable, as well. Nick – Electrician Nick was fantastic. I had a bunch of questions when he arrived, and he patiently answered all of them. Pat – Gas Fitter Pat had to come out several times because we had issues with the county inspections and he was the one who resolved them. He was efficient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Tyler & Mike S. - Helpers On the day of install, Tyler and Mike were part of the team and they were pitching in and helping everybody with whatever was necessary. They were one of the first to arrive and when I went out to greet them, they were very polite and friendly and helped to explain what I could expect over the course of the day. Everybody was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They were also very respectful of our property. The company that was used to drill and run the propane lines, also very professional and respectful of our property. I truly appreciated the fact that this company handles all aspects of the process, from providing the estimate, up until installation and final inspection. I also found the price to be very fair. With that being said, I found communication between the different people that I dealt with to be lacking. I had to be incredibly proactive and basically act as my own project manager. That is not to say that the entire staff wasn’t friendly and professional. They were. However, I appreciate and expect a more proactive communication style and I just didn’t feel that I got that. I do realize that a process like this has a lot of moving parts and that I was not their only customer. With that being said, I would still recommend this company to anyone who is looking to install a whole house generator. They were professional and did handle all aspects of the process so I wasn’t having to coordinate gas fitters, electricians, handling, county inspections, etc. Mike and Sarah, the owners, were both very nice. Mike actually was out several times. He came out to do the overview after insulation, and just came out to install the fuel monitor on my tanks. If you are looking to get a standby generator, I would definitely give them a call.

Mike and the team were great, very professional and fast. Highly recommended! Generator was a swap out and the new generator placement looks significantly better than the previous placement.

I was happy with their install. Even more important when a manufacturer defect caused downtime during an outage, they sent a mechanic out to get it back up immediately, in the evening, in the middle of a storm. I was in contact with the owner Mike throughout the repair. I’m very happy with GSC and confident they will keep us up and running for years to come. I’ve recommended GSC of Annapolis to our neighbors.

We recently purchased an older home in a rural area and have experienced multiple power outages in our first three months. From our initial meeting with Sarah, to working with their crews, to completing installation with Mike and brining it online, they met our expectations every step in the process. The communication from them was consistent, each time we communicated via phone, text and e-mail they promptly replied and kept us updated throughout our project. They also worked well with our propane provider to coordinate installation, inspections, and connection. This was a major purchase, so we appreciated their commitment to collaborating with us, their customer service and professionalism throughout our project. Seems strange to say this, though we look forward to the next power outage with complete confidence in our new system. Sarah and Mike run a great operation, deserve this positive review, and have earned our respect and appreciation. We are happy to recommend them and their local business Generator Supercenter of Annapolis. If you need a generator, Sarah, Mike, and their Team should be your first choice.

We just went through our first power outage. We lost it at 7:20pm and back at 9:05 pm. I want to say how awesome having this generator is. Short switch over to the generator and I almost didn’t notice the switch back to BGE power. Thanks for giving us peace of mind!
