Good Greek Moving & Storage Fort Lauderdale

From now until forever... I will only hire Good Greek to move me. Yes, they are a bit more expensive but what a wonderful experience in a situation as stressful as moving. We moved from a 3 story townhouse we were renting to a 3 bedroom home we bought and we had so much stuff (and so many stairs) it took them all day, yet they did all of it with good energy and efficiency. We had them pack up our kitchen and they were like packing ninjas. They packed so fast and so well, I will always have some pack for me from now on. They even knew where things were that they packed like a certain TV remote or electrical cord. The unpacking/unloading of the truck was also fast but thoughtful in putting things where they needed to be. The 3 man team that included Juan was great and I get why everyone speaks so highly of this moving company. 5 stars!

Be careful! I used good Greek service that include moving in and out, packing service both in and out, storage for 3 month ( they charge 4 months). At the move out day- they didn’t send enough team to pack my home, I did it eventually, after sending them numerous emails that they need to have unpack team for the move in- they didn’t sent the team, I got my things back after the storage period , 6 items returned with damage ( some of them are very expensive $4,500). I sent them emails, claims and no response or accountability from their end. The damage was for a table , a rug, sofa chair, glass top for the table , entrance table and dining room table, it was poorly rapped and poorly transported. As a customer I tried to contact them and their sales rep Erik, which non of them are trying to solve or get back to me, For the last 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately I will need to take the legal route. Be careful with who you give trust with your belongings. I moved many times in my life and never had such a bad experience with a moving company. As well they promised a move in gift, which never received. Too many promises way to less delivering. Be aware !!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - They Destroyed $5,700 Worth of Our TVs We were repeat customers—our first move with Good Greek went fine, which is why we trusted them again. HUGE MISTAKE. For our second move (short 30-minute drive within Miami), agent Robert Lopez sold us on "VIP service" and assured us they were the ONLY 100% fully insured moving company. We chose them over Piece of Cake based on this promise. THE DISASTER: 3 out of 4 TVs DESTROYED - $5,700 worth of OLED TVs completely ruined TVs wrapped ONLY in blankets—NOT properly boxed as our contract stated ZERO communication from the company for MONTHS after we filed our claim Insulting settlement offer of $450 (that's only 8% of actual damages!) They claim "$0.60 per pound" liability despite Robert assuring us everything was "fully insured" We were NEVER asked to declare the value of our furniture or offered additional insurance coverage They went from carefully boxing our TVs the first time to just throwing blankets on them. Now they're ghosting us and hiding behind fine print we were never properly informed about. DO NOT trust this company with your valuables. We lost nearly $6,000 and countless hours fighting for what they owe us.

I'm writing this review to warn others about Good Greek Moving & Storage. I've moved over ten times in my life and have never had an experience this frustrating or misleading or expensive. I was initially nervous because they required about $300 upfront, which included a trip fee and a 25% fee charge before the job even started ( this 25% was not explained that it was off the entire trip charge I thought it was some gas fee and the guy over the phone told me it came to 318 for fees), but I decided to proceed since their rate was quoted at $160 per hour and I've never had a move exceed 8 hours. After signing their contract while stressed, I later discovered there were hidden overtime fees after 8 hours, which they only mentioned verbally the day before my move, not when they were selling me their service. On moving day, at 3 PM, they were just arriving at my new house ( 50m after they left my old condo - 10, 15m drive ) when customer service called demanding payment before unloading anything. The invoice they emailed showed a total of $3,400, even though I had already paid a $250 deposit and expected the total to be around $1,500 max. When I questioned the charges, they told me the movers had started at 7 AM, which was completely false--they didn't arrive until 9 AM. I even requested to send proof from my phone records showing the first call from the crew was at 9:00 when they were at lobby . They reluctantly adjusted that, but I still haven't been able to reach anyone to correct the rest of the overcharges. The move ended at 6 PM, yet I was billed for hours I didn't use ( on paper they put 8:30pm guesstimate that I was required to pay at 3pm , ) and likely for materials I never approved (they used their own tape even though I had my own bins rented from stack on dolly's that required none). I'll insert a pic from stack that was amazing - paid for this so movers would not have to use "there own supplies " It's been days since the move, and no one answers calls and no refund applied. I've never moved for more than 1500$ this was a condo to a townhouse 15m away ! If you're considering using Good Greek, don't. There are plenty of reputable movers in South Florida who are upfront about pricing and actually answer the phone when you have a problem. Amended finally got a hold of them 10/31 I attached the bill they finally sent me after request . They are refunding me 600$ for hours not used when they made me pay at 3. They said tape used was for my bed and mirrors lol !! About 150$ in supplies for 3 beds , 2 dressers, 2 TVs and 2 mirrors they said they had to wrap.

I have to say that this company is by far the most professional company with highly trained and experienced movers we’ve ever worked with! They gave my mother and I the most peace of mind that we could ever ask for during such a big transition from FL to TN. The customer service is also superb!! We love the Greeks. We’ve used them several times over the last few years and are always pleased with their service. We used them again today for a move across the state. We had the help of Damien, Dave, Jerome, Steven, and Hayden on site at both locations and they were just AMAZING. Respectful, helpful, and just pleasant to have in our home. We literally could not have made the move without them. Their entire operation is impressive, first-class from the initial call, to coordinating the move with Billy Roy to the delivery. THANK YOU!

Had an amazing experience with my 3 movers Willie, Ganel, and Timothy. They were extremely quick, and took very good care of all of my items. The quoted price was also great in comparison to other companies. Will be using this company again in the future.10/10 experience.
