Good Hope Service

I’d like to say that my family, from my father, mother, brother and sister having been coming to Good Hope Service for well over 20 years. They always treated you like family and remember your name at the door.These guys and gals, are very kind and exceptional in their work. I can’t endorse them enough. Honesty has always been their motto. Fair and consistently good. John has a great crew of technicians. I appreciate their work. Thank you again guys for everything you did with my wife car. The ride feels great.

Service isn't what it used to be. Neighborhood garage feel is gone. Replaced by granite countertops. automated telephone attendants, and digital inspection reports. Feels like they're trying to become another Goodyear or Firestone. Including a new "assistant manager" that doesn't walk thru the service bays checking the repairs in progress, or seem to care to know your name. Even a simple oil change appears to be a challenge now. This is the sticker that was put in my window after the oil change ... obviously meant for a different customer. My truck has a LOT more miles on it, and I don't use synthetic oil. Place was much better when John was running the show.

Friday(8/8/25) was my first time getting my car worked on at Good Hope Service and I must say they exceeded my expectations. I had an unexpected situation with my car that day, causing me to not be able to drive safely. I called and spoke with Fay before coming; she assured me that if I came within 30 minutes(because they’d be closing shortly) they’d give me a diagnosis on my car. When I got there I had the pleasure of speaking with Fay again, who was very friendly, has great customer service, and is very knowledgeable. She answered my questions and made sure I understood everything we discussed. They were quick with getting back to me on what they found & even offered to start on it right away if I wanted, which I did otherwise all of my weekend plans would’ve been on hold. It took them less than an hour to fix my car, the pricing was very reasonable, and before I knew it I was out of there. My car is driving very well, and I’m very pleased. I will be back soon for more work and will be sure to reference them to anyone who may be looking for a reliable and trustworthy repair shop. Let me not forget the waiting area was clean and cozy, and even had complimentary snacks and waters. Good snacks too! LOL! Thank you Good Hope Service for being such a great company!

A very trusted service shop! I was originally referred by my sister to come here and I had a great first experience which led to me keep coming back whenever I had issues with my car. Quite honestly I don’t think I will ever go anywhere else now in the future. They’re the best!

Jon and Fay were incredibly helpful in addressing our concerns with our car. We initially went in for a full car assessment, which was quoted at $99, but in the end, we weren’t even charged because there wasn’t much they could do at the moment. At most other places, we would’ve been charged regardless, even without a resolution. This level of honesty and integrity is rare in the auto industry. They took the time to explain the situation clearly and genuinely prioritized our best interests. This shop is definitely one we can trust and will return to for any future car needs.

Good Hope Service has always been the epitome of professional & class in the auto shop business, since day one of me going to them for service. They are kind friendly & very much knowledgeable. Highly recommended this place, the staff was so friendly and helpful! My 2 cars and my mother in law’s car all got fixed on the same day . The prices are reasonable. I will definitely tell more people about this place!
