This location has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The staff are rude, unprofessional, and have nasty attitudes. It’s clear they don’t value customers or take their jobs seriously. No one should be treated the way I was when simply trying to do business. Something needs to be done about the management and staff immediately — this kind of behavior is unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering this facility to look elsewhere until they address their customer service issues. You never know who you are dealing with or talking to I will be contacting their DM with this matter. I’m very familiar with how facilities are ran or should be ran. It’s disappointing to see they treat their customers the way they do and you will reap what you sow always remember that. To anyone who is interested don’t waste your time until the behavior changes.

I ACTUALLY TOOK THEM TO COURT! It’s easy & effective! Do not store your belongings here! Read the reviews! The 5 stars reviews are obviously not based on reality! There used to be a great employee (Angel!) but he left, just like the previous 3 or 4 managers. There is no customer service. I pre-paid 13 months in advance for my unit because I am abroad a lot. Rats feces, vomit & pee damaged my belongings. Thousands of dollars worth of damages. Angel gave me property damage claim form to fill out. I fill it out and send them videos of pictures. Angel retired last summer….the new "manager" Jason refused to acknowledge my claim. The easiest path: take $20 and go file a claim in NY Small Claims Court for compensation up to $10,000.00 or $40 for a claim in civil court for compensation up to $50,000.00. That is the only way they will take you seriously. The front desk is always without an attendant. It is impossible to reach them on the phone. The answering service takes your messages but then there is no follow up from anybody. Jason sleeps in his car & doesn’t understand the concept of basic customer service….. Go somewhere else. If you have an issue with them, take them to court. Maybe they will change their business practices.

Extremely pleasant experience today with my U-Haul pick up and drop off! Everything was smooth and the gentleman helping me out was very courteous. 10/10 recommend!

Claudia was an amazing helper and got us all checked in without any incident and was even able to last minute add someone as an additional driver

The promos was two months 1/2 off. I got a unit on the 29th and did not get TWO months 1/2 off. I got 2 days half off and 1/2 ODD one month half, at the Harlem location. It says first two months a 1/2 off, not that is 60-61 days. It does not say the rest of the month you start a lease then one month 1/2 off. Beware of this fraud.

UPDATE! (8/4/25)_I have received nothing but respect at Good Friends from Jason, (The Manager), and Matt who always keeps the air light and receives everyone with respect. It is rare to find employees who respect customers, treats them with kindness and still enforces the rules, and it is one one of the most cheapest places to store your belongings. And Now, you can rent U-Haul Trucks from here as well. How convenient is that! They are doing some remodeling and upgrades to makes clients' stay more comfortable.
