I regularly charge here. The guy Jamaica has always been helpful and friendly. Yes the price is a bit on the upper side, but sometimes convenience is more valuable.

Great availability of charging stations. Fast chargers. Attendants available, nice dudes. Schedule (9 am to 11 pm) could be more convenient (24/7) Charging Cost is high: 0.59 cts per Kwh Parking Cost $1 per minute, If the car stays parked after being fully charged .

The definition of convenience for anyone arriving or departing via the Lincoln tunnel. We arrived this past Sunday around noon to find a friendly and helpful attendant and plenty of available spots. Pay upfront and get refunded whatever you don’t use. I also recommend parking in the attached garage for added convenience.

Traveling through and wanted to see if it could compare to a SuperCharger in terms of speed, cost, etc. First, you must prepay, which is like visiting a gas station from 1965. It requires you to calculate how many kWh you may need in advance, with the presumption they’ll only finalize the bill for what you use at a rate of $0.59/kWh, if you don’t use your full prepaid amount. Great way to turn the normally easy, low cost ($0.15-$0.40/kWh), no odor efficiency of EV charging into an SAT problem where you always lose because you actually can’t even get the right answer because they lie about the price. More on that later. So OK, I had figured I wanted to pay $30 in order to get 50 kWh, since $0.59/kWh * 50 kWh = $29.50. So I paid $30, and decided to back in to my assigned spot to plug in. DO NOT BACK IN!!! The weird concrete angle at the back above the charging spots is exactly the same dimension as many rear hatch/windows, so before I realized it, I was scratching my trunk paint instead of hearing a backup chime or seeing a normal vertical wall behind me. It’s like backing up under a concrete angle of death. So that was not fun. Then come to realize that the charge cable isn’t going to reach from that position anyway. Of course none of the attendants stopped me or advised me on any of this, just watched it happen. So I reparked and plugged in, noticing that the heavy cable was hanging above me, and kept hitting my head, and applied a lot of strain to the charging port. Bad, bad, bad. Despite advertised charging speeds of the fastest in the world, blah blah, it maxed out at 188 kW, only for seconds, then dropping to essentially an L2 level of about 50 kW, despite me starting at a low SOC (10%). I decided to leave after adding 30 kWh because I can charge much faster, better, cheaper at a supercharger, and they are available to all EVs. So now a couple of days later, I see the fees post to my credit card and it’s $24.82 for my 30 kWh. That’s $0.82/kWh, not $0.59. So almost everything about the place was a lie, inconvenient, even harmful, and I do not recommend it when there are much better options out there. I had hoped for something that was functional and above board at minimum, but unfortunately this place just slaps a zappy logo on a draining experience.

I recently charged my vehicle at this location and was quite disappointed with the experience. For 60.93 kWh, I was charged $35, which calculates to about $1.74 per kWh. This premium pricing feels excessive, especially considering the service I received. Initially, the staff would plug in the charger for you, which was a nice touch, but they've stopped doing that, requiring customers to handle everything themselves. To make matters worse, the entrance requires upfront payment, which adds unnecessary hassle to the process. Additionally, I found the staff to be rude, and customer service was virtually non-existent. Overall, I expected a better experience given the high prices, but unfortunately, I left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. I would recommend looking for alternative charging options.

I arrived at the station at 10:10 PM to charge my vehicle, well before the posted closing time of 11:00 PM. However, I was denied entry by a staff member who claimed the station was already closed. This caused significant inconvenience and disrupted my schedule. According to your stated operating hours, I should have been allowed to enter and charge without issue until 11:00 PM. I respectfully request clarification on the station’s operating policy and ask that appropriate steps be taken to ensure customers are not turned away during official business hours.
