TRI COUNTY AIR CARE

We had a terrible experience with Tri County Air. They diagnosed the issue with our AC incorrectly and we waited 7 days for a part that was backordered that we didn't even need. They were unhelpful in trying to escalate the issue to Lennox. One woman hung up on my husband and another told me I needed to call Lennox myself and complain. This is the company that we paid to install our units (that were still under warranty) and paid an ongoing service fee for checkups. We called another AC company and they had our AC fixed in 24 hours.

Tricounty replaced a coil for my 5-ton central AC unit, and it was a disaster. For starters, they were supposed to arrive in the afternoon but showed up about 8:30am with no advance notice, which they were also supposed to provide. Company had a coil that matched specs for system, but it was 3" larger than the existing coil. Per the owner, they knew this in advance, but rather than order the right unit, they installed anyway. When they arrived to install the coil they could not get it through the attic door. In the process of forcing it into the attic they broke the attic door. A few hours into the work, a third guy arrived to help the first two. He was more experienced, and told me he was dispatched because the initial 2-man crew got in over their head. Fast forward a couple hours, I walked downstairs and found fiberglass insulation all over the floor, countertops, tabletops, carpet. It was also in the ducts. I quickly turned the AC off to prevent further blowing around of the hazardous fibers. Company promptly dispatched a cleanup crew to vacuum out the ducts with a special HEPA duct cleaning device to trap the fibers. This was the only thing they did right all day. Per owner, they knew they had a potential health hazard on their hands (breathing the floating fibers) so acted quickly. Five hours after they left I was still finding fiberglass clumps stuck in the ceiling ducts. They were supposed to clean the floors, countertops, tabletops etc but did not. They left sharp-edged pieces of sheet metal around the attic door and did not vacuum clean up clumps of insulation in the area they were working. Needless to say, this is the worst HVAC experience I've had in 30 years of home ownership.

Talk about top notch service in every single way!!!! Our AC went out and needed replaced. We got two different estimates and called Tri county for a third. Wish I would have called them first!!! Brian was here within an hour and gave me a no BS estimate for what I needed. He had a crew here two days later and installed a new complete system!! They were efficient, professional, and knowledgeable! Heather in the office went above and beyond to care of everything on the phone quickly and efficiently...super sweet and so so helpful!!!!

Tri County has taken care of my parents for many years. So when it came time for me to change my ac care to another company I gave them a shot. They had someone out right away and the tech was fast and efficient. I’ve not had any trouble since. But I’ve had them out to do maintenance work and they have done a wonderful job. I don’t usually take time to sign in online to give recommendations but my parents have been happy with them and now we are to. From the office mgr to the owners to the tech that’s taking care of us they have been very professional and the prices have been responsible.

I have been dealing with Tri County Air Care since they replaced my system a few years ago. From the first encounter I was comfortable. I haven't used anyone since. They perform my semi-annual maintenance and answer any questions I have. Great value and wonderful service and I genuinely enjoy the people that I deal with. I get calls all the time from other vendors offering their services, but I will not switch.

I called Tri County Air Care due to family members recommendations and good reviews. Results are I will definitely be recommending them to everyone. Amy and Heather provided excellent customer service. Thank you for having so much patience with my little to no knowledge on AC and to the team for getting the job done.

Called Tri County Air Care when our A/C stopped cooling and was freezing up. They were out in just a couple hours to fix. Turned out to be nothing serious, just low freon. Chris, the tech that took care of us was by far one of the most thorough, polite and well manner service men we have ever had in our home. He checked EVERYTHING that could be wrong, and was not rushed. He seemed very dedicated to customer service and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Also very affordable. I will definitely be referring friends and family.
