What a wonderful local company!! 10/10 highly recommend and I will be a repeat customer for any future problems. My AC stopped working and I found them through a word-of-mouth recommendation after struggling to get an appointment fulfilled for weeks with a well-known colorful competitor. Elk River Heating & Air Conditioning really saved us today!! Our a/c hadn’t been working since Sunday. The temperature in the house reached 90-degrees and the humidity was off the charts. We have Home Service Plus with Centerpoint Energy which we pay monthly for, so of course that was our first call. They called us last night around 6:45pm and said someone was on their way, but they never showed up! Without knowing for certain if they’d show up today, how much longer we’d have to wait to receive any parts needed, and to schedule someone to come back out to install knowing it’s not cooling down outside for another week, I decided to call Elk River Heating & Air Conditioning. Jen who took my phone call, was wonderful and quick to jump into action to try and assist us. Matt was out here in about 45-minutes and quickly figured out what the problem was. The unit is back up and running and we are very grateful for the quick action, excellent customer service, and cooler temps. Thank you very much Jen and Matt!! Hats off to this company! Our air conditioner froze up last Friday before the big heat wave last weekend. When I called I was directed to an after hours emergency line. Matt picked up right away, what! Matt had a tech name Benny out within an hour to asset the situation, make the repair and we were up and running again! They were honest, directed with no BS or trying to upsell the repair. This was very refreshing since it was already a stressful situation and the other companies I reached out to and left messages never even called back! Thank you for the outstanding customer service, glad to see there are still companies out there that believe in it!

Must be busy, took over a week to get an appointment. Charged $150 for 30 minutes. Just installed the part and left, and he never said what was wrong or if he should install it. Then we received a bill, and the part is 3x more than the new manufacturers price quoted online. I give you stars for getting it going, though it's still weak.

The AC broke, our gen Z daughter thought she may not live through the night. I contacted Matt at 5:30pm he had our AC working by 7pm. Funeral avoided!

Matt is fantastic; you will not be disappointed if you work with this company. I was the contractor on my cabin build, and Matt was the only contractor who would take the time to explain to me what and why he was selling me the system we purchased. It works perfectly; the house heats up fast and cools even faster. My family can run it with their phones! TRS

Matt is awesome. Heat pump went out late one night I called Matt early morning and he had a Tech named Eddie come out before the time he stated with a heads up call. Eddie quickly diagnosed the issue a capacitor and had us up and running in about 15 min. I highly recommend this company. Fair and honest.
